The Holidays Thread
#11
Greetings. I am the Marmite Warrior.

As an interested observer of the Thanksgiving tradition, may I enquire, if all of the Turkeys are assimilated for nourishment by the population in November, what happens for the Christmas meal?

Considering the two events at quite close together, i have a range of possibilities I am considering.

Is there a "second wave" of turkeys specifically reared for Christmas? Younger siblings perhaps?

Or is there a switch in meat choice?

In Japan i think there is quite a fascinating tradition with southern fried chicken as the meal families sit down to eat. Not particularly relevant to my question but an interesting fact.

Happy Thanksgiving! And remember, a good dollop of Marmite into your gravy stock will bring you closer to Enlightenment.
