Tomorrow is the big day in Ohio!! .. If they let this opportunity slip past them, well they're nutty as bats in a belfrey.... All the benifits the plant has to offer, not to even mention the freakin tax revenue it'll generate...
But some natsayers are on a soap box screamin 'bout "But the children will get the 'candy' and OD!!"... Really? Like beer, liquer, wine and last but not least tobacco IS legal and the "problem" already exists....
It's not for "underage" consumption, only through medical supervision...
The main problem is hardwired thinking that this plant "causes" drug habits... Really?
It's high (lol) time we stopped all the BS and moved on to recent times... Those lies have perpetuated parinoia for decades...
Can I get a hell yeah!!

I'm too lazy to look but is that the state where a handful of cronies will have a monopoly on producing or distributing the mj once its legal? I can see pro pot people voting against it for that reason. To hell with crooked politicians.

I'll just continue to "grow my own"... As long as I can do what I please with it... I could really couldn't care any less about any monopolies....
Be that as it may... Ohioians should turn out and be heard one way or the other.... About 4:20 would be nice... Either way, I'll be doing the same thing next week as I do everyday the sun comes up... With or without any local, stateor national government approval...
I've always thought that what I do or don't do to myself is my business... As long I don't invade on anothers freedoms... It does not even need to concern them....
They can kiss my a$$ and bark at the hole, then use my p3ck3r as a walking pole....

The feds have no constitutional right to ban pot or any drug for that matter except possibly re imports. The constitution does not give them that right, the no good supreme court ruled that the commerce clause can be stretched to cover pot even if it does not cross state lines which is a crock of sh!t. What can we do when the feds don't follow the constitution and scotus lets them do it? The commerce clause is so rubbery it can stretch to cover any conceivable abuse by govt overreaching their authority it seems. Do we still have a constitution any more?

Well... The voters have spoken and it seems as the "old guard" has won....
I do not believe any form of government has the right to dictate what I can or cannot do to me... It's none of their freakin business... As long as do not infringe on anothers freedoms, then I should be allowed to "pursue my happiness" anyway I feel...
I just now saw there's a bill in congress to eleminate the national ban , although it's not very "high" on the Senate's agenda...
Don't get me started.....

Our country is in the grip of big pharma, big chemicals, big banks, big industry, etc. What the people want doesn't seem to matter any more. The bill will fail or even if it passed obama will veto it. He is firmly in the pocket of the big shots.
The ohio bill was flawed, once again crooked dealing behind the scenes. Set up to favor a few rich cronies. Hopefully they will offer a better amendment later.
They introduced a bogus bill here a while back when a genuine medical pot amendment was being considered. The bogus bill was only for "charlottes web" type stuff and only for a few extremely serious and life threatening diseases and had to be certified by a doctor that nothing else would work so that 99% of medical patients wold not qualify. It was passed by the legislature and drew away enough support from the real amendment so that the amendment barely failed. The fake bill they passed still have not been implemented after around 2 years. They never intended to let anyone have medical pot in my state. Its the gop against it and dems in favor but gop has the power here.
