Loraze??- Most Effective?
#41
The only benzo I use regularly is Ativan. Interesting that it affects some people so hard. I have found the opposite to be true for my body. Everything except ativan has given me a crazy drugged feeling (not tired or relaxed at all, just uncomfortably impaired) that lasts seemingly forever. Ativan, by contrast, dulls the senses and makes me slightly out of it in a very pleasant way. Good for sleeping (though it aggravates any apnea you may have, so be careful). Longer acting than zolpidem IMO.

I have experience with ttm's and ppe's loose 1 mg tranquipams. I think they are both pretty good (identical as far as I know), although a little bit soft/crumbly compared to a US Rx version. I'm not fully sold on the 2.5 mgs (yellow tabs), however.

I have not tried anything from MM yet. He seems to have many brands. Do people have a view as to which of his ativans is the best?

Ativan is my go to. X does not last long enough and makes me feel funny. Ativan keeps me sleeping most of the night. However when I try to take it during the day, it makes me drowsy so I have to cut them because I really do need them during the day as well. Have never tried any other brands. Are they any that relax yet motivate? I heard Valium but have never had the opportunity to try...

Agree re: xanax. To me, valium is the most similar to ativan, but a little "harsher" feeling if that makes any sense. (Could be tolerance issues, though, who knows). It also causes dry mouth and eyes for me. Well, they all do a little, but for me Valium is a bit worse for that side effect than Ativan.

For me, etizolam feels very similar to lorazepam but is not as sedating.

So etizolam might be a good day time solution? Lorazepam just wipes me out when I try to use it during the day time.

Etizolam is worth a shot.

Valium and Klonopin are actually a bit stimulating for me, so those might be worth trying too. If you're looking for something to "relax yet motivate," Klonopin might be what you're looking for. I save it for the days when I need a little extra energy.

I am very interested in trying the Pf@z@r T@vor because it sounds like the gold standard.

AND THAT IS NOT WHY THE VAST MAJORITY OF US TAKE MEDICINE. IT IS TO SURVIVE AND SURVIVE A WEE BIT BETTER.

GUESS THAT IS ONE REASON U WERE BANNED--OUT OF MANY.
