I literally just happened to see this. I live on the East coast in the D.M.V (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) sort of “commuter triangle”/“suburbs” of metropolitan DC, but is far enough away that it’s 100% safe neighborhood(s), kids playing in the front lawns, packages sitting on doorsteps all day & never being stolen, etc. etc.

I should add that I currently live with a relative whom I’m not in the best of terms with, but who is almost 70 himself, rapidly losing the ability to do day-to-day chores, much less really “work” for a living.

Unfortunately I see a very bad precedent by allowing a(legitimate alcoholic)ex-girlfriend (but not at the time) of mine move in rent free no strings attached and she ended up threading me with legal action and way nothing more than a noose around my neck/ a “boy who cried wolf” in regard to ever taking any action against me, but all the same, it left a bitter, bitter taste in everything ne’s mouth.

In the other hand we have 2x as many bedrooms than we do people living here in this single family home, so I’ll do my absolutely best to investigate that possibility (if you would even be able to move so far in the first place, etc)

I wouldn’t get my hopes up, but at the same time it never hurts to ask and I can’t think of a more deserving/justifiable case, what the government/healthcare system is doing to you is beyond barbaric Sad

And furthermore even if that’s not possible I know several licensed realtors
In the tri-state area who might be able to find you an affordable studio apartment, possibly via government subsidy (which makes the area sketchier, but as long as you stay inside/lock your doors…) I will 100% investigate/follow this up for you, as if there’s even the slightest chance I can help, it would do my heart good ❤️

You kind Sir are a most welcomed site...
You may have helped out a very very deserving lady..

Most folks would not even raise a finger to help out a friend in need,
but you offered the preverbal "olive branch"...

I am indeed humbled at your MOST generous offer of help...

Thank you, Thank you , Thank you My Brother

It sounds like you’ve been through a lot, and it’s really admirable that you’re trying to help out even with everything going on. I hope things start looking up for you soon, and that you can find a good solution for everyone involved.

Leonore nice to meet you. I’m Beeker. Your hands sound full! One day at a time and things will improve. Nothing ever stays the same.

Charon I’m always here for you! That’s not just an empty phrase as you know! I wish all a wonderful rest of their day/nights

Spiritual growth. I convinced myself, was an ideal not meant
for me to achieve. To the few who guided me to realize this not be true.

Checking in on you dear friend. Been thinking about you lately. Any family where you can move away from that dreaded state?
