I've seen it on a lot of sites but with all the different choices and correlating prices I thought I'd ask about it here.
If used regularly where do you get it?
Thanks

So, I wanted to edit the last post but I guess after a certain amount of time has passed that feature is no longer available.
Basically instead of asking the pointed and slightly personal question of "If used, where from?" I thought it would be better to phrase it like: Can anyone recommend a good place to obtain this med? Thanks,

I do not use a sleeping pill. I am the head of household basically and I am to protect the home. So, sleeping soundly is not an option.
However, I do know ttm2u has them. Some people will come by after work whom will know how effective they are. and, Other choices. k? There is nothing wrong with ur original question, btw. It is Well with My Soul

I have found generic zolpidem to be very inexpensive with a prescription... so much so that the cost of a doc visit plus prescription winds up being far less than the IOP's. Plus you have a better shot at getting a quality product and the Rx gets filled quickly at a local pharmacy. Also, requesting refills from the doc drops the average cost even more.

Just suggesting that folks with compassionate physicians might find this route to acquisition to be less expensive, with higher than average quality, reduced legal exposure and more immediate local access for this commonly prescribed medication.

Lechter, do you know if the same goes for us without insurance?
I was prescribed it once, back when I was insured, and you were right, at the time buying a 1mo of 5mgs w/o using my insurance was actually a bit cheaper(If I'm remembering it correctly). But the regular doc visits were expensive and that my insurance had to help out with. Really I'm just looking for something to improve overall sleep quality. I have no prob falling asleep, it's getting one or two full/good/deep sleep cycles that is proving difficult. I'm a light sleeper and wake constantly throughout the night. If I take phenibut, I sleep like a baby and feel well rested in the morning. In fact, with just a good night sleep I feel like a million bucks, and I am really beginning to think all my other issues simply stem from sleep deprivation. I wish phenibut would work consistantly everyday, but for those of you who've had experience with it know that's not possible. Tolerance builds fast(though can be managed with bacopa monieri) and the wd's suck. Any other suggestions for sleep quality? (I've gotten off topic and maybe this should be moved elsewhere, like general discussion.)

Lunar, we are in the same boat regarding sleep patterns. Â I nod right out but tend to awake between 2 and 3am. Â For me, nothing works better than 5mg of Zolpidem at that point to complete a night's sleep and awaken well rested without any side effects.
There are OTC remedies available including Melatonin, Diphenhydramine, and Doxylamine Succinate but none of them worked well for me... each a little too altering in an unfavorable way. Whilst not technically sleep aids, Magnesium Citrate and 5-HTP are agreeable, with the former producing lucid dreams and the latter promoting a positive mood. Â Both are without contraindications and are affordable and easily obtained locally. Perhaps others will chime in with what has worked well for them? |
