from my personal experience, this is turning out to be a good time....I had placed two orders in late nov and one arrived yesterday and I just rec'd a text that the other just cleared and is outbound so I should receive tomorrow or the next day at the latest

I've been pretty luckY. I have never received a LL. I have had orders not show up though. So who knows, maybe somebody in customs just stole my order.

I've experienced a disturbing uptick in the number of packs lost to customs over the last six months or so.

Since I order bulk exclusively (I like to make one large order quarterly and negotiate pricing), this has meant a LOT of lost revenue for my vendors.

They've been great about it, but the delays and losses are so out of the normal patterns I'm used to over the past years.

Say I get my shipments split into roughly 12 packs each quarter. It used to be that I'd lose one every 20 or so.

This last three months I'm at an 8/12 success rate. This is multiple vendors, different addresses.

Has anyone else experienced an uptick in LLs and customs issues?

Allegory, in what country do you live? If it is not to much to ask I would like to talk to you as my only intresst asswell is in bulk. I can not yet send PM's but im getting there. But the question is, can you PM me?

I've never received two orders, one from back in September and one I ordered in November from same general area. I just received an order yesterday but not these never received ones. Nothing from customs and no LL's... Strange.

Its pretty insane the amount of postal workers who have been caught profiling packages and then stealing them, the article I was reading even said they had found one worker drunk, asleep in his delivery truck on shift and was fired. The amount of investigations and terminations of postal employees for theft was somewhat large and alarming.

Perhaps that could be what happened in your situation Reddington. I know sometimes they do get lost though, set aside, put on wrong cart, delivered to wrong place etc. But I think now after reading that article and after all the holiday e-shopping, i will most certainly value my mail carrier much more! Its times like these that we really count on and depend on them to do the job, rain/sleet/snow/or heat, and makes us realize how important they are in our communication and commerce experiences.

Sorry, back to topic, no LLs as of now. Late packages from all sorts of shopping, and only really had luck with express/priority being 100% spot on (probably because they $ guarantee, if they don't deliver ha) but reg mail, very unpredictable. counting my blessings as no LL ever, and hope that none of us have to experience them. Let them go after big fish who deal with bad things, not nice forum members like ourselves.

I received my 5th LL on Saturday, d'oh! 2015 was a doozy for me. Happy New Year, and let's hope seizures don't increase even more!
