Hurray for sanders, he is not following in lockstep the idiotic and corrupt moves of the man in the white house. Instead of rubber stamping yet another pharm industry insider for the fda, he along with another dem and a gop senator are blocking the nomination. They may lose the fight, money talks a lot louder than principals in congress as we all know. But its about time some politicians developed a spine.

Sanders is blocking the Obama’s pick to head the Food and Drug Administration, reports The Hill. Sanders already said last year that he was opposed to the appointment of Dr. Robert Califf, who he says is too close to the pharmaceutical industry. Democratic Sen. Ed Markey of Massachusetts had already said he’d block Califf’s appointment until the FDA changed the way it approves opioid painkillers.

“Dr. Califf’s extensive ties to the pharmaceutical industry give me no reason to believe that he would make the FDA work for ordinary Americans, rather than just the CEOs of pharmaceutical companies,” Sanders said, according to the Hill.

I want to get excited for bernie but i was in the ron paul army last time around... Nobody's getting in without serious anal reeming from wall street primarily, but oil big pharma and the Kock lovers as well. Old dr ron was my last shred of hope in the process. Ideally i wanna save up like $100k and move to the jungle in south america- you could easily live out the rest of your life on that down there.

Ok 3rd time today denying im a gloom and doom prepper but if i hit powerball i would absolutely install the most heavily armed tricked out luxury bunker i could. I think montana possession of almost any weapon is kosher- heavy machine guns, anti tank mines, probably even stinger missiles. Never threw a punch in anger but i loves me some firearms. But the purpose of that was to keep the populace armed approximately equivalent to the military so while i grant u mines and stinger missile fantasies are just that, my AR is totally within what old John Footpenis would have wanted every man of the house to own. The 50 round mag is pushing it i guess but thats more for appearance than practicality. The ggears of war decals are a nice touch too. I'm sorry i am just venting on everything tonite, my 2 true 25+ yr friends still use hard drugs so i don't talk to them much, and those of u that know where i work know i cant talk this way there.
