Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area
I've noticed as I gotten older (67) I cuss more at inanimate objects.  I've tried to always save my cussing for home improvement projects.  Where I was brought up--geographically Southwest--cussing is as common as articles in conversation, but never had a favorable notion about that.  But, in the last couple of years I cuss corners I run into, branches that get in my way, rocks I trip over.  Not just the curse, but naming the corner, branch, or rock, as in "mother*******g rock"  Any other older types doing this?  I still don't curse in conversation.  Interesting how the brain and time collide.

Spanky, I read a study somewhere that cussing helps with pain. I don't know where to find it at the moment - just thought I would mention.

Spanky cursing is a nice way to vent. It relieves stress. Children are sometimes in the danger zone.
