If you do end up trying it out, you start out at a low dose and move up slowly everyday until you find what's best for you. Do some research if you do give it a try.

^^^ this is a spot about the effects, that I have also heard from others I know. Its not like an stimulant med, with the way it puts your body in overdrive. Its more a feeling of well being and clear headed and alert/focused. It also gives you a feeling of being awake, but not on edge like stimulant meds can produce.

Not sure if this is allowed, but I ve seen a lot of reviews for modafinilcat (seen them mentioned elsewhere on the forum too) on reddit and seem they seem pretty positive

I can second that endorsement. A very close friend of mine has now ordered twice, both times successfully. Plus they offer an option of sending samples of the different variations they have. My friend has been very pleased. Cool looking site too and easy to order (from what I am told, of course).

I have found mods finial to make me slightly edgy and jittery but I can concentrate and focus to a far higher degree than normal. I do always struggle sleeping after it however.
