Hi Linville,

This looks personal.  It's about a connection lost.  I think a flashback about something that never existed is a dream.  You have a poetic senssibility, otherwise I wouldn't presume an opinion.  I'm terrible at keeping connections, my own worst enemy at it, ha.  As I get older--I can't get much older--I think I'm getting better at it.  I'm usually the cause of my failed connections.  As I ager, it's weird, I see now times when I did what was right, to lose things.  Before, I never entertained such an idea, though I rarely saw anything as betrayal.   I only saw those things as personal failures.  I should stick to "5 Letter".  Things don't mostly last, I think there's nothing wrong with that.

And as I look at what I wrote I think why didn't I check it.
Because I meant to say If you have no idea what the images could portray then I am not sure I could explain it to you ...
But you got it.

Or a flashback of something that did, or maybe not happen, works, either way. You had it and now it is gone or you thought you had it but it never was.
This thought works on simple friendship too, which is actually what I had in mind ...

But I was thinking of is this case something I thought did but it seems not to and there it goes .

Some things are less bothersome than others.
Life is an adventure that is for sure.
But you also seem to be getting wiser as it go along my friend.

I like to reflect and understand or try to.

Late last night
As the banshee wailed

The Uninvited appeared

The Darkness, lingering at my doorstep
With unblinking ruby eyes on me
Barely visible in swirling black mists
Beckoning, welcoming...  with skeletal hand

Calling on Spirit and angels for aid
I rebuked Darkness that night,
Bound His siren spell,
Returned Him to the Void

But I know...
Impatiently waiting,
He will reappear too soon
Ignoring my refusal next time.

But I also think he will have no choice but to obey your thoughts to leave you alone, if only you can get it out. Not being frozen by him.
Then he will have to leave if you get the refusal out .

I might be off in my thoughts,if so simply ignore them my friend, but I hope you will always have the strength to refuse that wily one's offer and beckoning
