One payment method has shut me out - interrogated me and then said that the person I was paying was receiving too frequently. NOT my fault. There is only one other option and I want to avoid the same thing happening. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. And yes, in person. Any advice? A favorite seller I don't want to lose but options are limited.

Did you try sending payment online?If so try doing it at an outlet face to face,lot of folk get the 3rd degree using online payments.

You could try telling the vendor the problems you're having. See if they have other options for payment. If they want your business (and they do) they might give you another way to get it done.
I did that long ago with a vendor and was given a way to do it (which I swore I would not mention per his request) that has worked ever since.
