K@trom ban delayed
#11
Ya, I think it's just a dream. My understanding is that the de@ had some loose ends to tie up, otherwise the ban would be in effect now. The petitions had over 100k people sign on and that required a response from lawmakers. Maybe that had something to do with the delay.

The whole thing was ridiculous. Scheduling kr@t0m on the same level as H is ridiculous beyond belief. I mean, fent is Schedule 2, and we are seeing the terrible addiction problems this drug is causing. Just don't get our government's reasoning.

I read an article, (which has since disappeared) on CNN that likened the effect to being 100 times stronger than h? I'd like to know where he got that kr@t0m? As has been said before, it's big pharma that would rather have you using there selection, instead of a coffee plant/tea....

Jeez, to say Kratom is 100x stronger than heroin is rediculous. It's good to see that the gov sometimes listens to its people. Sometimes....
Regardless of your view on kratom, you can't argue with the fact that it's a natural herb which greatly alleviates wd symptoms for people trying to quit @pi@te use.
I personally enjoy it once in a while, it does give you quite an energy boost and an overall warm feeling. It's effects are definitely not strong enough to even consider it a recreational drug let alone a schedule 1 drug in my opinion.

The fact that it's natural is exactly why they want to schedule it. Heaven forbid people using an herbal remedy when big pharma isn't going to make a cut. Maybe I'm just a tin-foil hat wearing individual, but lets be honest...Do doctors get kick backs for Rxing certain things? Does big pharma care about the 0pi0d crisis? Only thing they care about is making money...Just look at the epipen scandal. I'd go completely all natural if I didn't have to worry about getting a knock on my door, or having to deal with the repercussions of a random UA at work. Heck, I keep on thinking about moving to one of those progressive states out west...

The part that saddens me most is that the people who really need good relief are being scrutinized because of new rules and other junk. Sometimes I feel that the G0V would rather everyone just go out and do H...It's sad...

Sorry for the rant.

Until recently the only other place where Kratom was made illegal was in Thailand where the plant just so happens to originates. Since then it has become public knowledge that the plant was made illegal because the Thailand people where using it to get off the opium that was that the Thai government was the sole proprietor off. (Rumors speculate that much of the opium was provided by England)

Not much has changed since then. Big pharma got word that people were using kratom, an unpatentable naturally growing plant, to get off of their big money making prescription opiates. Oh, and what do you know, the current head of the DEA used to work for one of the big pharma companies, and to make matters worse they tried to push the, so called, "emergency scheduling"(whatever the hell that means) through when congress was on break. You don't have to wear a tin-foil hat to see that a major conspiracy is at play here. And, this is only half the story, it gets much worse and if you google it you'll see tons of corroborating evidence.

Just thought I should chime in because Kratom helped me immensely. I wouldn't be who I am today without it and I really like who I am today.

Just started trying out Kratom...heard it was good for taking a break from anything pain pill related. Thanks to you guys for the update, I may have to get a little more. Don't have much faith in the DEA to be reasonable!

If you're trying to take a break from PK, I'd recommend also trying the "B@li" variant.

For pain and relaxation most of the red vein varieties work well. The green and white veins are faster and more like caffeine for me.

That's been my experience. But I swear by B@li. Although since of the alleged ban, I stopped completely. Stuff around my parts is super expensive, so I'm fine with that. But I'm glad it's around for those who can benefit from it.
