I just happened upon this thread. In God's time everything is perfect, so I'm counting on you to read it at the perfect time. 

This is my inaugural foray into an online forum and I crept in with baby steps. Then, I saw your signature "It is well with my soul" and YOU drew me out of the darkness and isolation onto the warm, gentle, loving glow of your HEART!

You have the invaluable gift of making strangers feel like forever family. You are the Sister and Best Friend I never had. You are treasured and reside in a cozy place in my heart. It's a blessing, honor and privilege to have you in my life. There are no words to express the depth of love and respect that you exude and attract!

Earlier today I wrote a post in this thread explaining why we luv Charon for all she does. Also a little about how many of us old timers from the "other" forum have followed her here. It was kinda a long post and dummy me forgot to click the post button and ended up throwing the whole thing away. UGH!

Anyway, the gist of it simply said she is the BEST and that there aren't enough hearts in the world that can express how much we luv her and appreciate her hard work to give us a safe new home here. I'm sure 99.999% of us would follow her anywhere because she cares and watches out for us.

At the "other" IOPList, she was the mod there and took sooo much crap and was gettin' so upset at the fools that wouldn't obey the rules, that we worried about her health and sanity. But when she, along with MANY other long time loved members were banned (FOR NO GOOD REASON) there was a mass exit of members. We followed her here to our new home that is soooo much more peaceful and homey. In looking back on that fiasco, I think that was the best thing that could have happened. That forum went downhill fast and now is no more.

Guess all I'm trying to say is, thank you Charon for keeping us all together and giving us a safer place to hang out. It can't possibly get any better than this EVER.

So, all the hearts in the world would never be enough to say how much we luv and respect you.

You, my friend, are loved more than you'll ever know.

@ Cricket! Great post among many great posts! Perhaps in 2020, Charon for President? Fill all the executive positions with iop members! We will fix this broken government with Charon, Ice and AOS at the helm! Always mucho love for Charon and all our family here!

You had welcomed me with arms wide open, and I couldn't have been more touched by meeting someone online. (at the old .com we first met) -- I was new to IOPs and you helped me kindly and caring through my journey to where I am now.
