Our mailboxes were raided last night by thieves, again. They're getting braver as it happened during prime time 5-9pm. With all the purchases people are receiving they are making our street their own personal shopping mall! I have a locking mailbox, but not sturdy enough and many are reinforcing theirs with padlocks. I think I need to make a trip to Lowes today.

woah. we are thinking of putting a security cam on our mailbox. this is gonna be third time we just seemingly stop getting mail. so we have to file a change of address form again.

and, my mailbox is wide open when i can get down there.

i remember a UPS guy stole the bracelet out of an QVC package i had purchased. well it was just silver, irish style, and cost only 16$. must have been a temp hire.

Be careful all. I always state that criminals want holidays for their family. they will rob urs using any trick they can.

Not having these sort of issues here in a rural area yet. Has anyone who is having these sort of issues thought of getting a PO Box with a street address. Saw in earlier posts that they're not that expensive. Might be more secure.

Stealing out of a mailbox is a serious Federal Offense....right?

I think we are talking like big time Fed Law enforcement heavy penalties.

We have thought about putting a motion sensor light in the mailbox cluster area. The idea of leaving a small package full of ya know.....doggie poo was floated as well. Funny the next day there was a story on ABC where people did the exact thing in Riverside CA and they had video taped it! Easy to web search the story with ABC, smelly surprise and porch pirate. Police are searching for the man..hahahaha.

Many thanks Charon for the critical information. We have to protect ourself all the time and especially in holidays from criminals and crooks. But reading " improved products " is sending an sos alarm. I have chills only to read it . My mind goes to a friend not with me anymore taken away from a similar product. Be aware brothers. They even spray bunk pills with Fent spray. They are criminals and the worst of all is the one considering his self lucky only to fall in a fent press pill. Lets stick to known, trusted ,tested sources these days. That is the reason we are here and that is why our Admin is so great and valuable to all of us.
