phentermine. have not taken in awhile due to the trouble with receiving from certain vendors. But, all is well now.

it does not make one's heart race, at least for me. it gives me the energy and focus to get things done that i must.

I admit I am not an afficianado of food, per se. But, I did feel as though I did not want any whilst the med was working.

I have seen the best results for others on this med also.

We have gone thru so many diet meds as my medical doctor sister did use them for weight and just scripted them for me as i cleaned her house. But, so many are now off the market.

Its time released. And, when I do choose to eat after doing the forum all day, I never had a problem with being able to eat, at that time.

I shall send u a quick PM.

Thanks for the information. I currently use redotex and have had great success with it, however it is very expensive, banned in the US. It is legal in Mexico so you have to have a "connection" to get it (which I do) but it is very costly. I am going to check out the other options. Thanks for the info and thank you charon for the pm.

Is belviq available through any iop?

Belviq seems to be once again, another drug that works by affecting the seratonin  levels in the brain. I'm just curious. how much screwing around with seratonin can you do?

This sounds promising. I used to use reduction when i lived in Asia, i think its banned now. It made me heart race out of my body so bad, but i did lose weight. I have gained weight this last year after 3 surgeries and would love a helping hand to kick start the process of removal. I will look this up. My main worry is always that something will affect my sleep, does phentermine do that? Thanks Smile

SaSa67,

Phentermine can affect your sleep if you take it too late in the day. Also, it can depend on which version of the medication that you're taking, ex: pill or time released version. Lastly, the brand of Phentermine often varies as well, in terms of how much energy you may or may not experience while taking it. It's been a VERY long time since I've taken it, but when I did I always preferred the 30 mg time released capsules. I'll starting the "Duromine" version of Phentermine soon. Once I do, I'll provide some feedback on my experience. Good luck to you!  Wink

I have a friend who takes modafinal 200mg (modalert) and they have lost weight on it. The same goes with this as the others, take it early or plan on not sleeping @ all. She said that it gives her a lot of energy to focus & she is not very hungry while taking it. If she wants to sleep good @ night she only takes a half of one. Just remember to keep your H2o intake level higher than you normally would. She dropped 25-30lbs in the last 8 months.

Hmmm, this is interesting information.

I've read a few posts that have discussed Modafinal, but didn't notice anyone mentioning that you can lose weight when taking it. That's why I love this forum, because you learn something new everyday. Of course, I know that everyone's system is different, hence, the reason for the differences of efficacy. Still, I enjoy reading about the pros and the cons that people experience from certain classes of drugs. More specifically; Amphetamines. Thanks, for sharing this information, and it's great to hear that your friend experienced positive results from Modafinal.  Smile

Don't plan on getting hardly any sleep when taking phentermine.  I use it when I want to drop weight quickly, but for me even the z drugs don't get me to sleep.
When I start phentermine I always have to get myself in the mind set of knowing I'm not going to sleep, so there is no use in working my anxiety up about not sleeping.  CBT will help you with thinking about sleep differently. I wish you lots of luck with it.

Thank you so much. Im sorry you too have horrendous sleepless nights. I wanted to come on at 4am this morning and write this but told myself to just stay off devices and hope id sleep. I didn't but i did get a couple of hours this morning so i feel as human as it gets.

I really don't know if the weightloss is worth it? I think that feeling wired whilst awake is so much worse than just not sleeping. I really would like to drop some weight for a big birthday thats coming up this year though  Confused

I managed a half a tablet last night and I'm going to stick with that now, they don't really do anything it really is just my mind needing something to flick that switch.

Going to watch my son play football in the freezing cold this afternoon so hopefully the fresh air and wind will make me tired. I always remember growing up by the beach our parents would take us for long walks on sundays to tire us out for that night, and then we would sleep well and be fresh for the school week. Worth a shot.

Have a great day everyone Smile
