Tracking Services
#1
Most of my favorite vendors ship International Airmail without tracking which has not been a huge problem for me. That said, if I do have a tracking number available, then I start to obsess about the where and the when for delivery.

I just tried this free online service to see if it was helpful for tracking information sent in a language other than English and for tracking that ends as soon as your package leaves the country of origin. Check it out:

https://www.17track.net sample (remove the word sample to use the hyperlink).

This service offers translation to English, but more importantly, it has an "ALERT" function which shows whether or not your letter is stuck in Customs. It also shows other delivery status indications. You can download a 17track app. to use, but I have only tried the online version so far.

If you are familiar with this service, then please post your feedback here.

Thanks

I use 17 track also. I feel that I get the most detailed information about my shipping. I try not to track but once every few days. When I went overboard I got my first LL. So best to err on the side of caution. But I'd rather use 17 than any other services in my opinion

Hi everyone. So your saying if we look up our tracking number multiple times this alerts customs?

That's kind of what I was taking from this. I've never heard of that before but I understand the logic with it.

i guess it depends on the specific (or particular) tracking service.
