Hi, all. New to the forum, old to the game. Have very carefully read the rules and plan to refer to them continuously. Will also revisit them often for updates and/or changes. I love to learn and look forward to gaining whatever knowledge I can as a registered member. I also look forward to contributing. (Counseled for nearly 30 years (now retired). Advanced degree in Clinical Psych). My two lifelong passions are helping to relieve the suffering associated with emotional illness (for myself and others) and working on behalf of animal welfare. Peace, everyone.

Welcome Rafterman. Would love to pick your mind about Sasha (Pihkal/Tihkal) if you are up on the subject and after you have been around our blocks of course. Welcome to the family.

My sincere thanks to all whom have welcomed me and for the well wishes! I truly do appreciate it. I browsed the forum for several months before finally joining, so I already knew that this was a fine group of caring people. After joining, all I can say is that I now know that holds true. Very happy to be here. Thanks again to all.

Hello Rafterman, welcome to the forum. Psychology is one of my main topics of study (as a layman), and I look forward to your future contributions!

Hi Rafterman ...somehow occasionally I miss welcoming new members and it is only that I miss doing it.
That's all.
For anyone seeing I do not welcome a new member. I intend to welcome all new members.
But anyway,
I see you are fitting in fine. Rafterman.
Finding places to contribute like you said.
Good for you.

Welcome to the forum Rafterman! Times like these make me realize how great the internet is. By the way, is there a meaning behind your user name?

Hi, welcome to the forum. I am also relatively new this year and I think you’ll find that there are many people here that are willing to help with any type of question. They seem to be a very friendly group and it’s very wise to try and fall the rules that they have established on this forum.
