Lurked a bit
#1
Now I'm glad to have joined based on what I have seen, this seems to be a fair and straightforward community. I am a woman, mid-thirties who suffers from knee issues and not yet ready for knee implant. However, pain still under managed. Luckily, I can't tolerate the real hard pain meds. I also, suffer from PTSD and again, well the med story is complicated.

I have much experience ordering from IOPs from one end of the globe to the other. I know lots about the shipping industry. Also, anyone who is curious about holistic & herbal type remedies, I know of a few good vendors for that stuff too.

I look forward to contributing to this forum in a positive way

Peace

Thank you for all the nice welcomes Smile

I also left out that I'm also now a master Esthetician. I have had a license for a while, but recently re-upped on my certifications and did my state board certifications again. Before it was more of a side gig doing make up. However now, it is my biggest revenue stream. I have investments and another small business. However, my latest gig I have been taking referrals from a dermatologist to help his patients with acne treatment and their maintenance. I don't practice medicine, however I do deep cleanings, laser treatment etc. So I am very familiar many current acne treatments and prescriptions and have opinions on a few. Unfortunately, I am not too versed on treatment of other skin conditions. With the exception of KP, I have helped people cure KP. Other conditions, best I can do is tell someone how to cover with makeup.
I also own a copy of the cosmetic ingredients encyclopedia (so you don't have to) it's a big book, lol

Again, thanks for the greetings and I look forward to helping people.

Thanks,
It is a cool gig as I love helping people feel good about themselves and no matter what anyone says, looks play a huge role. When I treat acne patients that are also getting care from the dermatologist, the results are quick. I haven't even been doing it for that long, but have had a few people tell me our treatments are life changing.

I'm not gonna lie, extractions are fun too and very gratifying. Some people say to leave a pimple alone. This is a huge misnomer as the pimple is an infection that needs to be evacuated from your body. Letting them sit is what leaves scars. Extraction ASAP properly and sanitary will not cause scars. Even if someone has scars or sun damage, fractional laser treatment has come a long way. We used to use stronger lasers and patients need more recovery time and it was painful. Now we use smaller lasers and break it up into a few treatments and patients have no down time, just day or so of looking like they are sunburned.

Oh, I could go on about skin care........
