I have just recently heard about dalmane/flurazepam. Supposed to be good for anxiety and has a really long half life. Anyone have any experience with it? Or know a good vendor for it? I have never really looked for it before.Sounds like something i may want to try.
Thanks in advance if anyone has any info or experience with it I appreciate it

Dalmane 30mg...it all started 15 years ago! Long acting hypnotic used for sleep. Comes in 15mg or 30mg caps (don't confuse this with the much better restoril). Longer acting and always
gave me a hangover. I personally don't care for dalmane although if I had it I would take it. Very nice but the aftermath when I woke up was a huge con.

My doctor prescribed this med for me Many years ago.
It worked great. I, personally, did not have the hangover many people report.
I awoke feeling well-rested and refreshed.
However, I think I may be "wired" a bit differently than many people. LOL
Rarely have seen this med available online. Tried it once couple yrs ago - didn't seem to be same formula as original one prescribed long ago.
May have just been me or stored improperly before it reached me? Will never know.
Good luck with the search.

Agreed. But, taken nightly, Mogadon/Nitrazepam lose their effect VERY quickly.
It's of of those "once in a while" reads - useful if you want to take a short break from your normal reading material.
Tolerance to the sleep-inducing effects of nitrazepam occurs after about seven days.
Dependence can occur in as little as four weeks.
There's a difference between having an opinion and having an informed opinion.

Dalmane didn’t help me fall asleep. I mean if I took more than the allowed amount then it indeed helped induce sleep but because of the half life, you wake up feeling terribly groggy if you take more than the allowed amount. I found it better for sleep maintenance
