Admin of Steel,

Can we set up an area just for receipt of deliveries. Some get in the vendor threads but most of the vendor thread is reviews on products and specific difficulties members are having or questions. I think it would be pretty cool to have an area kind of like Ttms where it is just delivery dates or even verbal confirmation of delivery. That would be a huge help for all of us so that we can spot if there is a big crack down right away. I don't think it would even matter from what vendor just so we can keep tabs that mail is still moving or if everything from all vendors is being held up by our friends. I know right now we aren't really posting when packages are sent do it can be vague. I think it would be extremely helpful if we could spot right away and realize Uh oh nobody on this forum has received anything in the last two weeks and proceed with extra caution. Just a spot for simple delivery confirmation.

Thanks,
Bishop

Charon I was thinking of a general one combining all deliveries. Of course it would not give you the whole picture on each vendor individually but I was hoping it would help with the bigger picture of if a crackdown has occurred or Peter Panda has reared his ugly head. Hot periods with seizures. I think it would be way too much for you to do all of them individually. And my goal is more how the borders are looking not necessarily vendor speed. I'm not looking to compare them. I just want to be aware if all the sudden no deliveries are coming in. Didn't vendors move things at different speeds and you can look for that in there thread. This would be just to know if everything goes quiet. Which is kind of hard to tell at the moment because the threads are full of praises, reviews, questions, and complaints. Right now it would take about a month before we realized something was amiss because each vendor thread stays active regardless of deliveries. I am in no way bashing the vendor threads. That is where you learn everything you need to know as you order. This thread would be something you look at before you order and of course wouldnt disclose the actual ship dates or anything that might compromise our vendors. I don't want to make it any easier for them by letting them know which dates to check. This is a follow up post basically saying all clear at the moment. But we all know things change on a dime. I think we would all appreciate a heads up if our friends are holding on to our packages longer than usual. But if you guys think that it's it's too dangerous or trouble than I bow to your experience and wisdom.

All well thought out points you made. quite valid. I trained in academia to argue either side of any issue.

So, well done. Now, we usually hear from other members before decisions are made.

We have a bit of a democracy that goes on here. Thank you.

Why not just keep it simple, you order from Mr A,you receive from Mr A,you post feedbacik in Mr A's thread.
Sometimes the more stuff you have the more problems you get.

Well it's a lil late now. I was kind of hoping we could setup an early warning for crackdowns. But you won't know until it hits you. We should just leave it as be. All Dates might be a lil too much info too easy for prying eyes.

I am with Tommy......let's use the "kis" (keep it simple) method.

Hi guys,
this is such a double edge sword.
It took me almost an hour this morning (over breakfast) scanning forwards and back through 2 weeks of postings in the PPE2U thread trying to figure how long ago a pigeon has landed in the US from this vendor. I ended up posting the requested information. We are an international forum and many do not state where they are located when announcing that they have received an order. Is there a way to sub categorize a vendors thread?
I value all the contributions that are actually contributing, that is the reason I have such respect for the senior members /Mods. and those who provide valuable information.
cheers!
