If you watch Gold Rush, on Discovery, Parker Schnabel's 96 yr old Grandfather Died Today, March 18.
Most of the media is not reflecting that fact yet.
I saw it on Gold Rush itself. A preliminary Notice to us viewers.
What an inheritance he has left his grandson.

Oh no. I hadn't heard that and it's a shame. For his age, he got around pretty good, but I know he will be missed.
I bet it hit Parker hard.
So sad.

Ah man... I just loved that guy... He was quite the man... So full of wisdom and boy did he love Parker! I believe he was Parker's best friend, I know he'd have been mine...
Who didn't just love that guy...
I miss him already...

From what I have seen, a lot of Grandpa will live on in Parker!

Grandpa Schnabel will be missed by more than Parker. His wisdom was the backbone for Parker to build on. Hope Parker can remember all the little tidbits Grandpa bestowed on him. Grandpa Schnabel will be sorely missed by all he touched.
