I love being able to come here and see the compassion and admission of humanity.

It is something lacking in my offline life right now.

I truly value all of you.

To those of you who take the time to PM me, know you are cherished.

To everyone who logs in here with the intent to build the best community we can, I am grateful you have made your way here.

I have been absent for a few days due to some external pressures.

Tonight I couldn't sleep, and came through and read all of the back postings I've missed.

I was washed over with the feeling of security and family.

Then I realized I need to be up in a few hours for the holiday.

I took a Modafinil and may have gone into focus overdrive and had a bit of a posting spree.

Reading several hundred constructive posts from caring people got me all teared up.


You probably know I try to keep on topic and informative, and so this thread was born.

An appropriate place to tell you I love you all, and am crying like when I first watched 'The Vow'.

Allegory, since seeing your posts online there is no doubt that we would be the best of friends in the "real" world (if you can call it that) .. Anyway I'm glad you're back and do hope all is well with you and your family.

I get plenty for your posts that are much needed ... You, sir, are a terrific asset to any forum.. I'm just glad you chose this one...

I can sympathize with what you are saying and feeling Allegory, since I've been a member I have felt nothing but positive vibes from everyone. As I've said before and I think Charon and Ice and most of the people that I have interacted with has made me feel like family. You know that how ever crappy your day is going or how strained external relationships can be you can always count on the people in this forum to share they're knowledge, experiences and wisdom in such a sincere and compassionate way or even just a kind word and you realize that there are still kind and caring human beings left on this planet even if they are all here at least we know where we belong.

I second all the above comments. It will be a year in May that I became a member of this exceptional family. This past year has been one of my most difficult both emotionally and physically. Everyone has been so, so, supportive. I continual to be amazed how much I depend on just coming to the group to just read, or comment or ask questions. No one judgements me, just have reassuring words. Lately I have been in a very down period (many things going on) and I again have family members reaching out to make sure I am OK, checking in, overall just caring. And I would like to think I,to have helped a few members.

So I just want to say Thank You to all of you for being here for me. Here's to another great year.
