Newb/thread 1/looking for definition of a post

hey... uh. not much to say, just a pretty regular dude trying to keep up to date on how to maintain, and get it how i live. i know it can be wild west out here on the nets(what up orson scott card) and we have to stick together. i read rules, will try to stick to them, but i do have a question though... is a post considered any reply to a thread or do you have to create a thread for it to count as a "post" for one of your 50?
