Hi everybody,

I hope I'm doing this correctly. I've never written in a forum and can barely
operate my smartphone. I'm a laborer all my life and spend alot of time at
the factory. so bare with me.
I was diagnosed with myelofibrosis (chronic leukemia) four years ago and
other health issues, blood clot problem and heart afib so thought I would
join this forum I found. It seems like everyone is really kind.
I won't post a whole lot because I don't really know how it all works and
blind in one eye from a blood clot behind my eye a couple years ago that was
removed. Don't know what happened I was great up until 30 yrs old, now 
pushing 50, not so much. Depressed alot and in pain most of the time.

I use the dragon speaking software to type this because of my eye sight,
so hoping it is doing it right. I am set to have another bone marrow biopsy in the hip soon, dreading it.
Anyhow, nice to meet you all and I hope this posts right, I'm old fashioned
and not very good at figuring the internet stuff out yet.

I could not get that dragon naturally speaking to understand me. I have Ms and Lupus, among others.

You are safe here. I have used computers since 1985. And, I still cannot do half of the things these younger people grow up doing on smart phones and computers. argh!

It is more difficult as we age.

That sounds terrible. I hope you find what your looking for. I too have chronic illness due to a connective tissue disorder that means I'm quite literally holding myself together. So if you need a friend to chat to I'm here

Seems though life itself throws us some screwed up stuff as we get older and most of them ain't all that nice..

My dear Mother used to tell me,"Getting old ain't for sissys!" and by God, I know what she meant now!!!

As Charon says, you are part of a larger family now and we are here to listen, talk, and cry with one another...

We do not judge as we all have one thing or two or three things screwy ...
