I have been so very lucky in regards to Mothers...

For most all my life, I had a birth mother and a beautiful G-Mother that raised and nurtured me... However as many of you know, I lost my G-Mother to a fall and a few short months later, my birth Mother passed away from rapid onset of Alzheimers and a broken heart... For years, I was most privileged to be able to send not one but two Mother's Day cards and just like that, I was down to none...

So to the ones that still have a Mother to call, please do... Put aside anything that would cause you not to enjoy the one(s) that not only brought you into being, but helped you along the way... Without Mothers, none of us would ever be here.. We do in fact owe our very lives to her... I cannot express enough just how important this bond is... It is in fact the strongest bond on this planet...

So love them while they are with us, you'll be so very glad you did, because after it is too late, well you'll feel the great loss and beat yourself up for not doing what you should have done many years ago...

I do miss my Mother and my little G-Mother so very much... They are in God's presence as we speak and one day, I will certainly be with them again...

Love your Mother, it is the only one you have and our days are numbered, so do not waste a single one...

Thanks Charon for the reminder, though I didn't need one. My wife wouldn't let me forget. Unfortunately my mother died 23 yrs ago and I miss her soo much. Now that my kids are adults and are more aware, they don't need as much prodding from me about MDay.

Lovely said Icewizard. My mother is 87 yrs old, and I can't even imagine my life without her. I,wish I,could be with her tomorrow, but I can't. But we will be together for 5 weeks in the summer. And I can't wait.

So to all the mothers out there...Have a wonderful Mothers Day tomorrow and know that you are,special in many hearts.
