Another thread will be available for members to contribute comments, questions, stories about summers past or dream vacations, etc.

OUR FORUM'S SUMMER CELEBRATION BEGINS THIS WEEKEND -


  "SUMMER EXTRAVAGANZA 2018"


BEGINS FRIDAY JUNE 29 CONTINUES THRU NEXT WEEK AND WEEKEND  JULY 8



During "SUMMER EXTRAVAGANZA WEEK" - June 29 thru July 8
We will celebrate Summer with our friends here
Hope everyone enjoys!



Some Suggested Activities:

Members are encouraged to play songs they associate with summer, or enjoyed during summer when young

Members are encouraged to post photographs & pictures related to summer and vacations taken,
your dream vacation or interesting places visited

Members are also encouraged to post humorous pictures related to summertime

We would love for members to share stories and/or anecdotes from summers adventures they've had.

The Music Chat thread  would be great place for concerts that members attended during summer and want to share
Also movies - omg remember "drive-ins" ?  Had so much fun at those during the summer.


Everyone enjoy the "carefully prepared" Happy Hour food and drinks   LOL

Please feel free to bring food and drinks throughout the week at public Cafe Linville - never too much of that!




HEADS UP ACTIVITIES:

**Each weekend boating will be available - speed, pontoon, fishing, etc
(Just post the boat you desire to use)


**Dolphin rides MAY be available, depending upon the dolphin's mood.


**July 4th is USA National Holiday and there will be a fireworks display that day.
(Much thanks to Linville for his assistance with the techno-pyrics  LOL)


**next weekend we will end our week of Summer Festivities with a weekend of activities such as
jetskis, waterskis, parasailing, glass-bottom boats rides, or scuba diving for those feeling adventurous.
and YACHT RIDES with lots of Champagne...



I  look forward to watching everyone enjoy the festivities and greatly appreciate anything members can contribute to the fun.

SUMMER FEST
SCHEDULE:

today is thursday before  it begins - "setting the scenery" or location

if somebody wanted to post more pics here of beach seating to continue what I've done, that would be great.

Friday is when I'm posting food & drinks,  I'd appreciate members dropping off food/drinks all weekend

Sat & Sun will be water fun - people in tubes, on mattresses, maybe water slides & water rides, different type boating

Mon & Tues & Thurs  (and ALL the days)  people can improvise with summer pictures, stories, concerts they've seen during summer, songs, whatever they have time/want to do
pictures and telling about past vacations they've had or dream vacations they'd like to have would be cool

Wed July 4 Linville is doing July 4th holiday thread with fireworks

Next Fri  July 6  will be happy hours and songs, fun

Final Weekend (Sat & Sun)  will be grand finale with dolphin rides, jetskis, glass bottom boats, scuba diving, waterskis, parasailing
