Good morning, Cafe Linville frequenters. I'm glad to be back enjoying the coffee - or in my case, rather more smelling the coffee but sticking with the tea!
Thank you so much, Popster, Ice and IS, for your kind words of support. They meant a great deal to me. It's something for me to be so turned in on myself that I couldn't get here to post for a while - I am usually much better at sourcing the support of friends at difficult times but something felt different in this particular crisis, and I found myself locked in, with the world locked out. I am sure my mind did it for a reason - but I must say it feels so much better to be back and talking again, and more importantly, listening again.
Ice, I particularly liked your analogy about life going downhill and picking up speed. That was so spot on, I hope you won't mind, but I intend to steal that one and use it! I promise I will mentally copyright it to you each time.
Popster, thank you for your positivity. I find that approach really helpful. I am definitely not too deterred by my failure to win the war this time round.
IS, thank you for your friendship as ever. I am glad to have you as a friend.
And Willie, I am sorry to hear about the arthritis, even though it is good news that the fusion has healed properly. To have to be dealing with tricky logistics in the middle of hearing news like that is not helpful although so true of life I find. I wish you the very best of luck.
A warm good morning to everyone else today. I hope to see you on here soon.
