I was my fathers caregiver at home from cancer. I worked with him in our law office. When he passed, although I am the youngest, I did promise to care for me mother. Which I did for ten yrs till it was her time to leave us. I ran the office to support me mother. She was so proud that I, also, became an attorney shortly after his passing. I still consider myself the male of the family. The most responsible in an ethical fashion.

I am blessed that I had a father with whom I could be so close. Me mother? Took a few years longer till she got "me."

He could play every musical instrument but for the violen. he could not do it justice he said. He taught in schools and the tough kids got prison or me father. And they would come to town and visit us. Freaked out the neighbors.

There are so few songs I saw for fathers. Stinks. I love me mother and shall see her again also.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THE DADS OUT THERE. TO ALL THE DADS WHOM WENT ON BEFORE US. WE SHALL SEE THEM AGAIN.

god bless you for being there for both of your parents at those critical times of need. i am very fortunate to have both parents in my life still today. happy fathers day to all of the dads out there!!

Oh, You are mightily blessed.

I see me parents in dreams. Tis a glorious thing to be trusted enough to be your parents caregiver. Esp as my older sister is an MD. She has no feelings/no honor.

Fathers are often our heroes.

Enjoy your parents. Memorize their expressions. Their words. I still say Icebox in memory of me parents. No refrigerator for me. And they encouraged our love of pets and we rescued so many. And it is always a wonderful thing to join your fathers profession and then make his life easier by doing the work for him.

I had him for 34 years. Soon enough, I shall him forever in Heaven. And he will rag on the pianos up there.
