has anyone taken a feral outdoor cat and tamed it

my harrison comes in for a few hours a day. we are apparently moving to another state if feels like.

he broke out already when we tried to keep him in. he knocked out the AC.

is it possible to train him? he could go out there cuz allegedly there is land and a brook like here. and a cat downstairs.

i would rather die than find harrison dead on the street.

any experts?
