As the debate whether to lessen NFL penalties
for marijuana continues, the development of
medicinal cannabis is gaining traction.
One of the most high profile voices in this group is Kannalife – a company that has a license agreement with the National Institute of Health (NIH) to develop a CBD based drug that may help NFL players with the brain disease CTE.
Kannalife is lead by CEO Dean Petkanas as well as spokesman Marvin Washington, a former NFL defensive end.
