Your post reminds me that if I am in a car, plane, or train for more than 30 minutes the motion just knocks me out. I can sleep through turbulence on a plane like a baby. Car trips are great also. Gee, if I could only find someone to drive me around every night for 8 hours I might get a good night's sleep.

Lol Kiki you often see parents driving their babies around to get a bit of peace, but I've never seen this happen for adults!!
Hey guys there is a really good insomnia thread in the General Discussions section.
Maybe someone could "bump" it.

Although the last post isn't a year old. Sleepy

I'm the same way. It puts me out but I always wake up in the middle of the night with little chance of falling back to sleep. I use melatonin and magnesium but there's always a few nights week I can't fall asleep, so I'm considering a stronger pill. I ordered some 3tizol@m (online, no prescription) but I am also considering getting some Kl0n0pin prescribed by my doc since it's so cheap (13 bucks for 120 pills) from my local pharmacy. I had a gf in grad school who gave me a few (since I've been insomniac forever---I blame my dad and late night movie watching marathons we use to partake in when I was a kid) and they worked like a dream.

Does anybody have experience with either of these? TIA. Great thread!

Is there any way to have this “pinned” so that it is quick and easy to view?  That thread is full of great non-pharma ways to have good sleep hygiene.
Quetiapine will sort you out mate

It didn’t make me sleepy at all but gave me full body shakes after 3 days. I would of developed tardative dyskinesia had I stayed on it. It was a terrible med for me.
Many effective pills help sleep, it depends on your body chemistry and what you are use to from past use of whatever you were on.. It's hard to say one medication will help, when there is a risk for dependency with most all sleeping pills except over the counter and even over the counter pills are not good on the body and mind over time. It really is a hard one. I've heard running a few hours before bed "eminem" said this when getting off ambien, was his savior to finally getting to sleep and he runs miles every single evening before bed. That works for him, what works for you will be different or maybe similar. So many chemicals may be off in your brain and body, it's good to experiment safely to see what results you get and the information above has a lot of good information to learn from. I've learned so much from the group here and I'm forever greatful...

Hello honstym,
I have never taken Quetiapine but several of my friends have and your right it knocked them out, but has you know all meds affect people differently. I had a girl friend
who would take #1 T3 and be out like a light.
