1. Wheels. Gone is the soldier; gone to the wars. He built a major pharmacy review site still in existence. The cowardly admin banned wheels the day of his fourth deployment. He was unbanned when they received monies in his will.

I salute you Wheels. And, I shall follow you. As best I can.

2. Betsky. My good friend whom succumbed to MS at the end of spring. I miss you Betsky. I know you are happy. I pray your beloved children are coping very well.

Well, I guess I can post this here.
Today I lost another family member. My 15 yr. old Cocker Spaniel passed away earlier and I'm beyond sad. She was such a sweet baby and I will miss her terribly. My younger Cocker keeps looking around the house for her. I know she will miss her too.

So, Cricket is sad again. How much more is God gonna throw at me? I know I can't take anymore of this.
Within the last 2 yrs., I have lost my younger brother, my best friend and luv of my life for over 45 yrs., my mom a couple of months ago and now my baby. I'm afraid that if I start to luv and care about anyone, they are going to leave this world too.
Maybe I'm cursed or something.

I feel like the good lord is testing me and I don't know why or what I've done to deserve this. How many times can your heart be broken before you crack? It doesn't seem fair and I give already. ENOUGH!

So anyway, I just had to vent. It's gonna be really hard tonight when I go to bed and look over at her empty bed.
Anyway, thanks for putting up with my rant.
Losses like these remind me of a song I love. I sing it to my children every night, albeit in a slow, ballad form.

We walked him to the station in the rain
We kissed him as we put him on the train
And we sang him a song of times long gone
Though we knew that we'd be seeing him again

Sad to say I must be on my way
So buy me beer and whiskey 'cause I'm going far away
I'd like to think of me returning when I can
To the greatest little boozer and to Sally MacLennane

We will see them all again one day.
i am so sorry, cricket. i have rarely seen such a tough time for all the good people on earth.

my most sincere condolences.

Thank you both. It just feels so different here without her sitting there staring at me for her morning biscuit.
But I'll be ok and get thru this like always. Besides, I'll see her again some day when it's my turn to go. That is if I get to heaven. Man, with all the Lord has thrown at me, he should let me in those gates.

Thank you again my friends.
I luvs ya. OOPS! Maybe I'd better not cause I don't want to lose you guys too. I'm cursed. LOL
I'm terribly sorry to hear that you lost your 'ole puppy ... No matter the age(maybe the longer we have them the worst it is) .. We are never ready for them to go ... And losing family is especially hard....

All I can say is we will be right here for ya .. No matter what ... I know there's nothing that can take a loved ones place, we just have to know that they'll be waiting on the other side ...

One day we will all meet on the golden streets, until then we must carry on and make the ones already there proud of what we are doing now ...

My deepest heart felt sympathies go out to you Cricket ... I truely grieve with you ...

I think that everyone who loves animals should surely be granted a place in heaven, so I'm sure you will have a glorious reunion.

Thank you guys. I still have 3 other doggies that I must take care of so I will now be devoted to caring and loving them.
But I will Still miss my old girl VERY much. She has been to hell and back with me thru Katrina and everything else in my life. She has been the perfect little angel to me and it's gonna be awhile before the sting of this will ease. But I will go on with the rest of my herd.

Thank you ALL for being here for me. Heart
Wow @Cricket,didn't know you lived through katrina, looked like a bomb had hit the place when the water went down,an atomb bomb!
I had 2 cats until about 6 months or so ago, first one was diabetic but got really ill and had to be put down,he was about 14 years old, second cat that was the others sister had to be put down 18 months later due to a tumour.
She never seemed to be the same after her brother went away started acting differently for a while, usually she was really quiet, but a week or so after her brother went away she was making a lot of noise, miaowing more than she had ever done, had them both since they were kittens,my estate i live on (or housing project to the US folk) is infested by mice,i used to get loads in my place until i got the cats, mice dissapeared quick.
I think they must still think there is cats here due to smells in certain areas of some rooms.
Thats how mice get around by leaving a trail of urine they can folllow the small of,so they can probably still smell my cats, don't think i will be getting anymore cats though, unless i get the mice back then i might get a rescue cat, shame so many people don't look after their animals well, some cruel folk in the world, don't know how they sleep,i guess they are kind of sociopathic.
