On Sunday, December 1, President Biden did what he vowed repeatedly not to do and pardoned his son Hunter for his federal crimes and any additional crimes he might have committed over the last decade.

Or — in the words of Dave Rubin — “Joe Biden, the elderly man pretending to be president, pardoned his crackhead son.”

As upsetting as it might be that Joe Biden lied when he pledged to accept the jury’s decision and not use his executive power to pardon Hunter, the decision should not come as a shock.

“Everything Joe Biden has done for the past four years has been a lie,” says Dave.

However predictable Biden’s decision was, it doesn’t mean that the nation is going to stomach it well.

Already, the backlash has been swift. Some of it has even been funny.



Dave displays a tweet from Biden from several months ago with a recently added community note beneath it.



“By pardoning his son Hunter, not merely for a single crime, but for all actual or potential crimes he may or may not have created over an eleven years period, Joe Biden has made it clear that some people are, in fact, above the law,” the note read.

However, Elon Musk’s response to this community note was perhaps even funnier.

Reposting Biden’s tweet with the note beneath it, the tech mogul wrote: “Community Notes slays.”

Dave agrees — community notes does indeed slay.

“The beauty of community notes, as you can see, [is that] they reference articles that you can then click into and see,” and then “you can rate it” based on its helpfulness,” says Dave. “This is sort of the fact-checking apparatus we've wanted for a long time.”

Lead: U.S. Confirms Covid Cover-Up

The House Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released a report called "After Action Review of the Covid-19 Pandemic." It makes some interesting findings including that "Public health officials must work to regain American's trust; Americans want to be educated, not indoctrinated."

I'll say.

The report is 502 pages and concludes many things that we were not allowed to say during the pandemic such as: Covid came from a lab, the U.S. National Institutes of Health funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the Chinese government, agencies within the U.S. Government, and some members of the international scientific community sought to cover-up facts concerning the origins of the pandemic.

The report is damning for the EcoHealth Alliance, and says that the organization and its leader Dr. Peter Daszak "should never again receive U.S. taxpayer." In fact, the report also shows that the Department of Justice compiled a grand jury that issued subpoenas for genetic sequences of EcoHealth’s research on viruses in Wuhan. The House referred Dr. Daszak for criminal investigation in May. The status of the DOJ case is unknown.

The report acknowledges that a lot of harm was done during Covid lockdowns and that next time, "the Constitution cannot be suspended in times of crisis and restrictions on freedoms sow distrust in public health."



Now Covid Is Making a Comeback?

Is Covid back? The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services says that everyone should get an updated Covid and flu vaccine "so you can give the gift of more family time this holiday season" such as baking with your children. Even though the vaccine does not prevent the transmission of Covid.

Former Washington Post journalist Taylor Lorenz may have coined a new term: rawdogging the air. It means you are breathing air without a mask which is, in her world, living dangerously!

Lorenz is probably best known for harassing Trump supporters while she was at the Post. She has a new book coming out and on the Blue Sky app, she said this:

"Planning a Covid safe book launch took months and THOUSANDS of my own dollars ensuring testing, outdoor space, far UV lights, and a litany of other precautions. Meanwhile u dumbfucks are out raw dogging the air and spewing ur disease laden breath all over ur elderly neighbors. We are not the same."

I had to double check that this was written in 2024 but it was. She says that she is "severely, severely immunocompromised" but she also says that "climate change is going to make our airborne disease and pollution worse before it gets better, masks are a crucial public health tool!"

Does it matter what she does for her own book launch? It does if it means that some influencers still believe that there is science behind these protocols. The Covid test has been proven to be 97% faulty. For decades, studies have shown that masks can be toxic due to prolonged use. They also can cause the Foegen effect, which pushes viruses deeper into your lungs, and the toxins in masks have been shown to contain toxins that are harmful, especially in hot weather.

I might want to read those studies if I was "severely, severely immunocompromised" but she's not interested and it's not a risk to me as I wasn't invited to her book launch sadly.

South Korea President Declares Martial Law

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has declared martial law in South Korea but he has yet to specify what that means.

Have they been attacked? Is there a disease or crime outbreak? No. The martial law was declared because the opposition-controlled parliament is not doing what the President wants. He accused them of "sympathizing with North Korea and paralyzing the government with anti-state activities."

“I will eliminate anti-state forces as quickly as possible and normalize the country,” the President said in a televised address. Meanwhile, he asked his people to tolerate “some inconveniences.”

Well I don't like the sound of that and neither do many South Koreans. The President's own party has called this move "wrong" and said that he would “stop it with the people.” Opposition leader Lee Jae-myung, who narrowly lost to Yoon in the 2022 presidential election, called Yoon’s announcement “illegal and unconstitutional.”

Within a few hours the South Korean parliament voted 190-0 to lift President Yoon's martial law declaration. At this hour clashes between citizens and the military are taking place in front of South Korea's parliament building. Tune into our live show for updates.



Washington Commanders Redskins?

The Washington Commanders were formerly the Washington Redskins but the name was dropped in 2020 because it was considered racist. But the logo of the Native American may be coming back.

The NFL and the Commanders have begun ‘good faith negotiations’ to allow the Redskins logo to be used once again. The logo was designed by the late Walter "Blackie" Wetzel, an advocate for Indigenous communities, and Chairman of the Blackfeet Tribe and President of the National Congress of American Indians. He created it in the 1970s to "symbolize and pay tribute to Indigenous populations." His family and several tribes have petitioned to get the logo back into use.

This doesn't mean that the Commanders will revert to the Redskins name. There are reports that the team's owner and the NFL's Roger Goodell are currently meeting with Senate Leader John Thune to discuss renaming the team to its original name and bringing back the old logo but that is unconfirmed. It may be just the old logo and the new name for now.

Robert Schuller’s teenage daughter, Cindy, was in a motorcycle accident and had to have her leg amputated. John Wayne is a big fan of Robert Schuller. He heard Dr. Schuller say on one of his programs that his daughter had been in an accident and had to have her leg amputated.
John Wayne wrote a note to her saying: Dear Cindy, sorry to hear about your accident. Hope you will be all right. Signed, John Wayne. The note was delivered to her and she decided she wanted to write John Wayne a note in reply.— with Mary Davis Harrill.
She wrote: Dear Mr. Wayne, I got your note. Thanks for writing to me. I like you very much. I am going to be all right because Jesus is going to help me. Mr. Wayne, do you know Jesus? I sure hope you know Jesus, Mr. Wayne, because I cannot imagine heaven being complete without John Wayne being there. I hope, if you don’t know Jesus, that you will give your heart to Jesus right now. See you in heaven. And she signed her name.
She had just put that letter in an envelope, sealed it, and written across the front of it “John Wayne” when a visitor came into her room to see her. He said to her: What are you doing? She said: I just wrote a letter to John Wayne, but I don’t know how to get it to him. He said: That’s funny, I am going to have dinner with John Wayne tonight at the Newport Club down at Newport Beach. Give it to me and I will give it to him. She gave him the letter and he put it in his coat pocket. There were twelve of them that night sitting around the table for dinner. They were laughing and cutting up and the guy happened to reach in his pocket and felt that letter and

John Wayne was seated at the end of the table and the guy took the letter out and said: Hey, Duke, I was in Schuller’s daughter’s room today and she wrote you a letter and wanted me to give it to you. Here it is.
They passed it down to John Wayne and he opened it. They kept on laughing and cutting up and someone happened to look down at John Wayne. He was crying. One of them said: Hey, Duke, what is the matter? He said (and can’t you hear him saying it?): I want to read you this letter. He read the letter.
Then he began to weep. He folded it, put it in his pocket, and he pointed to the man who delivered it to him and said: You go tell that little girl that right now, in this restaurant, right here, John Wayne gives his heart to Jesus Christ and I will see her in heaven. Three weeks later John Wayne died!
