Thank you Maldita, Justice1, reilli, masterthief & blandy for your heartfelt condolences. It means a lot to me that you would write me.

It is now 7 months since my dad passed & it isn't any easier to deal with. I am just so sad to not have him here to talk with. He was an excellent listener. I guess I am getting used to not seeing him but I still wish so much that he was still here.

I am hoping for spring to come early so I can get back outside where I work hard to keep bad thoughts away. My dad was a landscaper & gardener & he loved working with plants & things. I got my love for gardening from him & I think of it now like a precious gift.

Hey Roses...

It's been about 3 1/2 years since I lost my mother to lung cancer and it still is not any easier to deal with. I miss her so much everyday and still look for her to ask a question before I realize she has been gone over 3 years. I don't think it ever gets easier you just have to learn to live life differently and do it in a way to honor him.

Winter months are hard and you have my prayers going out to you
