Good morning to you, Charon!  I am anticipating a nice long nap after work today (it is raining heavily here, so no plans to go anywhere today except perhaps a quick trip to the grocery store to pick up coconut water for my wife, who started a diet yesterday - I diet I consider completely unnecessary, but one she insists on doing).  If it continues to rain all weekend, I'll just heat up TV dinners for my meals and walk on eggshells while she fasts until Monday, spending a lot of time with the baby chicks and no doubt napping in my recliner in between marathon "House of Cards" viewing sessions.

Audrey, sorry to hear about your lack of sleep; definitely not surprised by that and the fact that you have a lot on your mind. I hope you can find some way to relax and let go of it a little this weekend.
Passing through briefly as I am taking my younger son to the dentist for the very last stage in the saga of his dental braces - he gets the retainers he has to sleep in today and so all is now drawing to a close. He has distinctly non-British teeth now! Though they weren't too bad to start off with, but enough, still, to make getting braces worthwhile. I wish he would smile directly at me more so I could appreciate the results more - but then that's super cool 14-year-olds for you, isn't it?

More teenage drama has worn me out.  DD not being honest.

LOL, no, FirePlaces, not a farmer, but boy, if I had life to do over again I would honestly have to consider raising livestock as a profession - I fall immediately in love with animals that are dropped off with us by our kids when they move from one location to another, strays that show up at the door to our back deck, you name it.  I can't even bring myself to shoot or set deadly traps for opossums or raccoons, who are always eating our the food we leave out for our cats while they are slinking around during daylight hours, I use cage traps, then set them free in a huge local forested park about two miles from home.  We've had up to 8 animals in the house in the past, including baby goats who are ill and need to be nursed back to health before being taken back to their owners.

I'm a helpless case.

HA! I'm not chatty in the AM as well. Anyone that knows me gives me wide birth until around noon. LOL

Good Morning Everyone! I am sorry I haven't checked in recently, life has been so hectic for me the last month or so. I have missed you all &

I hope to contribute more. I am doing ok. Although I fight a constant battle trying to not overtake on my Norcos. Now that the weather has

broken, I have been working in my flower garden. I seem to have more back & hand pain this spring. I see my doctor on Monday & I always

worry he will cut me off of my pain pills so I am really nervous about seeing him. The laws have changed so much in New York recently & it

makes it harder for pain patients to get their meds.

I hope you all have a good Friday & that your pain & anxiety is under control.
