Ok, you guys are pushing me in the right direction.  I love Diet Coke. I prefer it to anything else, including water. I do drink 2-3 glasses of water every day, but in the morning, the first thing I go for is the DC. I've read everything about how bad soda and especially aspertaine are, and I think I'm ready to start the process of quitting.

I'm saying it like this because the quickest way for me to blow a diet (or dietary changes) is to say I am going cold turkey.  So every few days I will drink one can less. I'm embaressed to admit how many  I drink every day, but after noon, it is only caffeine free.     I'll update---good and bad!

Don't want to burst your bubble Audrey, but diet sodas have been found to cause weight gain instead of loss.
I drink reg. Coke all day and night. I know, not good, but I just can't go without it. I've tried diet sodas many times but can't take that after taste of the Aspartame. YUK!

I used to love coke......now that I know more, I manage to satisfy my yearnings with an organic pomegranate soda that I add to sparking water in a ratio of about 5 parts water to one part soda.....to my surprise I found 3 of my friends were doing the same thing with their flavor of choice.

Now when I have a full strength soda....well, it's way to strong, over the top.....I really like sparkling water and now I am happy flavoring it.  

I have never tried Red Bull and have been wanting to....but I think I will pass after reading Charon's post.

I don't think any of those energy drinks are good for us. The one that gets me is Monster. Ever notice the 3 "claw" marks like 777 on it. In Hebrew, those figures mean 666. Hum..... Devil's brew?

We have soooo many symbols all around us that we don't know the real meanings of. It just goes to show us the evil symbolism being used and disguised as something else.

Just another little interesting tidbit I thought I'd throw out there. Learn the original meanings of the symbols we see everyday and see the evil world we live in.

Happy for you guys that are cooling off. Could you send a little of that down south? It's sooooo hot and humid. We could also do with less rain. Areas here in La. are still underwater and rivers are rising. Thankfully, most of the problems are west of me, so I'm safe and dry. But my heart goes out to all the folks having their homes goin' under AGAIN. I don't know what the hell is goin' on here in La., but it's been one thing after another. It's like someone is trying to wipe us off the map.

So I hope you all enjoy the break you're getting and enjoy this weekend and the better weather.
