Do naps refresh you or depress you?

Hi Folks,

Just my experience with naps.........

I nap daily as I usually get about 4-5 hours sleep per night. More often than not I have the time for 30 minutes (sometimes 1 hour) to konk out and upon awakening I'm ready to rock n roll. Head clarity is significantly better, and drive to get some work done increased as well. Sometimes I feel groggy but I've narrowed it down to overall lack of sleep in general. One thing though, if I get 7 hours of sleep I still feel the need for a nap! Days off work, If I get into a slump and catch myself sleeping too long I break out the god old alarm clock, as I hate waking up wondering what day it is!?!??!
