Something about those V's "counteract" withmy system... Instead of a calming effect, it really makes me extremely hostile! Now I can do the Z's and it's the oppisite effect...

I know they are of the same class, so I don't know what causes that reaction...

I know this is an old post, but I was reading through posts and came across this.

I also have this paradoxical reaction to "V's"!!. I have a similar reaction to @tiv@n unfortunately.

Generally as a rule I try to stick to the thieno variety of this class, as they seem to not have this effect. But i can have some of the milder regular ones without the adverse effect. Which is part of the reason I have a taste for some of the weaker and less popular ones. They have the desired effect of helping with my insomia where V's and A's and a couple of others have the paradoxical effect and cause agitation.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that experiences this odd paradoxical effect with the V's, thought I was crazy, but for me it only seems to be with specific brands, one will make me feel crazy anxious, another will have it's normal expected effect. Not sure what the deal is.. stick to what you know works I guess is the moral of the story.
