time from seizure to receiving LL

I would ask for a reship, especially if its someone you do business with often, and for sure if you are having to sign for these letters.
When and if the other letter shows up just pay the difference.

I believe they have up to 30 days to send you an LL, not sure if laws have changed. I have had 2 LL's in close to 20 yrs the LL's both showed within 2 weeks.

Like Ice Wizard said, sometimes them letters just disappear.

My only LL was 4-6 weeks after seizure.  I'm now pushing week 9 with nothing.   I really think the LL is just a scare tactic.  Prescription drugs are so high priced in the US it should be a crime.  When you have masses of people ordering from abroad many with prescriptions it would be a nightmare to prosecute those living on fixed incomes for trying to save 90% by ordering the exact same medicines abroad.  On top of that if they did prosecute it would be so easy mail someone prescription drugs to cause them grief that I don't see how a prosecutor could prove you ordered the medications unless you just admitted it.  In my case I would never admit it or order beyond personal consumption.  Maybe they pulled my name and address after seizing 2 packages a few days a part and decided I was a hopeless cause since the LL from 6 months prior did not stop me.  I just don't know.
