My body has just started to deteriorate in the last five years, so I'm fairly new to the pain management game...I used to just stop at the bar before I went home and a few beers would calm the pain and I could go on with life...but eventually alcohol began to make me feel really bad - so I don't drink hardly at all anymore - I just can't. I found after a trip to the dentist that pain meds really did help me and the side effects were FAR LESS than alcohol...fl3x3ril made my limbs thrash so I went to r0baxin and that's fine - and my doctor allows me 15mg per day Hydr0z - which I am thankful for but have to supplement to keep the pain manageable. The fact that they're pressuring our primaries to reduce or eliminate these medications has me BESIDE MYSELF - they're taking it out of the doctor's hands to prescribe the appropriate amount on a patient by patient basis - it seems like they're FORCING us to look elsewhere to supplement...does that even make any sense??? A dosage should be between a doctor and a patient only RIGHT? how logically can some bureaucratic interference help? I have to do what I have to do, but I really hate myself sometimes for doing it...I want to stay productive, but it feels like I'm being forced to disability...
