I've done the same exact thing, it seemed that the "f3ds" didn'y give a flip if the scripts( and I use that term lightly) had
D3A number or not. They just took down your info (off my DL) and logged it so you couldn't keep going back for another 3 month supply every day/week ....
NOW Texas officials had a different point of view on that D3A number, they would confiscate, not only your meds, but your a$$ as well!!!
Now of coarse times have changed greatly even to the point that you need a freakin passport just to go and come Mexico... In Brownsville, you couldn't walk down the street that several "promoters" wiuld hustle you in to see a Dr, he showed you a catalog with pictures, I just pointed to what I wanted and he wrote the script ( there was at least 1--15 tables in there all doing the same thing) then he would point you right across the hall to the pharmacy to have all your "stuff" filled ... Again, the border guards would doi nothing and neither did the "check point" guards,,,
BUT don't let the Texas DPS catch you with them, they meant business and never in a good way...
I never understood why a governmental agency did not care about a registered D3A number, the the locals cops had a hissy fit over it!!!
So since I never seemed to even bother to answer your original question, I would have to assume if they are tightening the grip of the f3dz, that too must have been affected...
Best of luck
