Strattera vs more common ADHD alternatives
#5
I have just been prescribed straterra, but medicare so far has been resistant to filling it so my response is limited to what I have read about it.

It is non-stimulant, but is reported to have an energizing and focusing effect. It is an antidepressant, a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (what?) it takes some days to take effect. It is not what I wanted, nor is it a first line med for ADD.

Stay posted, In will advise once I actually HAVE these meds. It's kind of been  a fight, which is weird since it is not a controlled substance.

I do have alternatives, right here, if it does not work for me.
