#11
Thanks everyone for your condolences. Took the rest of the week off for family and NO service he demanded a "Celebration Of Life" and we are gonna have one hell of a party this weekend.

Peace All

A celebration of his life sounds wonderful.

I think we Gaelic have a similar philosophy.

You are in my thoughts my friend.

Thanks Everyone for your sympathy and prayers.. Been a really emotional week and cannot stay focused on anything. Hopefully our celebration of his life this weekend will help bring closure but as close as we were the pain will never go away and he will live forever in my heart. I know life goes on and you have to move on but this one really struck me hard and sure not helping me control my PTSD..

Peace All And Thanks Again

I'm very sorry for the loss of your beloved friend & uncle Fury. I hope the Celebration of Life will help you heal a little. I love the idea of Life Celebrations, I have requested the same.

Hoping for some peace for you heart.

Sorry for your loss, man, I don't know if you carry faith, but Christian churches are good for Healing, certainly come in with an open mind, you get what you give, nd I know serberal friends that went that route andworked there way through it, don't bottle it up, talk about it to someone, let it out, not good to carry a burden like that! so i'm so sorry.

and meds are a temporary fix, you have to get your mind straight in order to really get past this situation, grieving is normal and healthy!.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend and uncle. Like the Cesare Pavese quote that says, "We do not remember days, we remember moments," I hope you can draw on many moments, comical and affectionate moments, to bring you some comfort.
