Our corrections officers are dying. they were not allowed masks. Our sanitations workers begged us to get them masks and protection and to be careful what we throw out. And now mothers are crying that their sons on dying of the virus in NY.

Nurses and new doctors whom graduated early to help, had masks torn off them for their elders. Well if they did not help, why take them and use them?

What is most shocking is how little life matters to the rich and the powerful and the rat bastardz of this world. Thank God this is not my home.

Be strong. The spread is much faster than anticipated. Be prepared for National Guard to knock at ur door april first but that is just supposition on my part. martial law. Newbie national guard. Remember kent state? And they knock with guns drawn. forced me to evacuate a flood that did not go nigh my property. They lied and said Gas Leak now so u must go. Take ur attack dog. leave ur cats and dont lock door.

took dog. badly injured cuz i was not allowed my shoes. and i locked my door. it was a lie. Many groups of LE were in hancock at the time to catch Bucky Phillips. He lived in the woods and the people sold Bucky Burgers to go. Simply a burglar. But to open one's door and have the national guard with weaponry drawn at me? They had trucks out shouting u do not have to evacuate. But LE felt bucky phillips was too much of an embarrassment. Nope. Did not catch him that day.

Be prepared to obey any and every command STAT. they are young and inexperienced and have itchy trigger fingers. IMHO.

our governor's brother has it. and had moved into Gov's house or basement with his family.

it is far worse in NY than anyone could have expected. No one knows when the apex will actually hit. the numbers are just rising and cuomo is trying to get people all over the US to forget political affiliations and help other states. and we shall in turn help urs when it happens.

Seems the Lupus med combined with zithromax helps. no new news. Just that is hitting us harder and faster than anticipated. And that does even include LE and Fire dept and sanitation workers and all the nurses and drs whom are not tested. we need more tests. esp the ones that give an answer within five hrs.

Be safe. This has mutated more than six times already. And cuomo cries every Press Conference cuz he is really close to his family. Got pretty many of them wherever our Gov lives.

One man begged his son to not go on spring break. but the son did. and his father left him money and his car but said u cannot come home and give it to ur grandparents.

Nothing new per se. It is just rapidly moving across NYC and westchester and other "downstate" areas. And unfortunately headed to a state near u according to the experts. Prevent an attack on u. Stay inside. Disinfect boxes u receive from amazon. heavy spreader of the illness. no protection.

And as always, the people on the frontlines with this illness, of all age groups, are our heroes. And if lost, we thank them, Pray for their families. And move to the next family or concern.

At Bellevue, it was my understanding bodies were being cremated in one hour. But i did see a FB news articles on funerals are allowed but only maybe five can attend. Don't know. I do recall the urns of the cremated were not marked properly.

And it goes on...Be strong all.

we are no longer taking advice from CDC or WHO. they have claimed our workers dont need masks. including sanitation workers and MtA whom are dying. Did die.

And billy grahams son, franklyn, is gonna be at the central park hospital. it seems to be a hospice for people whom dont stand a chance. But he will pray for them and be with them. So that no one dies alone or terrified.

Maybe i should get that robotic cat to keep me company.

Totally agree, people are sick. Thankfully hand sanitizer is easier to make than something like Lysol spray. I’ve been searching for spray for 2 weeks now. It’s hit or miss everywhere. I checked online and I’m seeing people selling ranges $50-150+ as high as $1k - crazy! I’ve tried making my own spray but it’s just not the same as an aerosol. I was also able to get KN95 masks $3/each since I have many family members still out working and then donated some to friends/family nurses. My state is following behind NY which is so scary. I’ve seen the checkpoints thru RI - not sure what’s going on with that government. My friend had people knocking on her door last week to see if anyone from NY had came over. I just wish there was some light at the end of the tunnel.

and Mr. Pres said in his newly sedated voice: trouble getting testing kits? i never heard that. and he is gone...

i have been bleaching the hell outta much. much like lysol i believe. in a spray bottle. the floors and handrails and door knobs. and the bathroom. cuz houseshare would not let me do much in beginning. he liked he male alone look.

yeah well i dont like breathing it.

it is a large bottle of clorox cleaner and bleach combo. so one does not pass out from bleach and wind up in a tent.

Some families are being called in when the patient is dying. with a peephole. and they can say i love u thru a walkie talkie which i suspect is filthy. the ill cannot speak. only maybe see and maybe hear. The family head passed with twenty minutes.

I am guessing where you are from by the use of quid?  UK by any chance?
While all of this virus panicking was getting started a guy in Tennessee went around the countryside to all the out of the way dollar stores
and bought 17,000 bottles of hand sanitizer. Then he had the nerve to try to sell them on Ebay for $40.00 each!  Can you imagine? Needless to say he was banned from Ebay and the national news did a story on him. He couldn't be satisfied selling them for $3.00 when he was probably getting them for less than a dollar. Happy ending though, he donated them to charity.
I do not live all that far from NYC.  It is bad here. People are scared and things look like they are getting worse.
My brother in law is an ER Nurse in the Bronx, NY and he has it but it doesn't look like he has a bad case.

I am so sorry. I have heard too often that masks were ripped off nurses faces. You cannot get it: the older nurses said. Absolute balderdash.

Greetings and prayers to all during these difficult times...

I am one of the lucky ones who is able to work from home and live alone. I always make sure to have plenty of supplies on hand just for emergencies like this which keeps me from having to leave my house at all unless absolute emergency.

I am showing no symptoms of Covid 19 but going to keep playing it safe and keep staying at home. I did go to the grocery store yesterday for one of my elderly neighbor's who needed her groceries but she is terrified to leave her home. PLEASE everyone help out your elderly neighbors who cannot even get out for a loaf of bread or gallon of milk or even their prescriptions.

Please everyone take this seriously and as Charon posted above about the criminal activity this situation is breeding.

You live alone and work from home?  I admire you.  I live with a spouse and two dogs and couldn't imagine all this tension and stress alone. I get some relief from walking my dogs twice a day. I certainly take this thing seriously. I am locked down. Everything that comes in is disinfected.  Good luck to you. Peace to your soul.

I don't know how old you are or where you call home but doesn't this have the feel of 9/11/2001

i went thru 911 by praying and trying to help. A few yrs later i counselled Fireman Dude. First responder, second wave. He had some protection but not really. And he died at 47 with the lungs of an 120 yr old man.

I am in the epicenter in NY state. Westchester. Today, they cut off the usage of cash. And the ratz cancelled my three month old credit card. Saying its a new rule if u hadn't used it. Well not using it made my credit score sky rocket.

but i guess they feel all NYers with MS, LUpus, Parkinsons, and PTSD, *disability said* of my age will die.

The entire premises i rented on was deserted. My rental house will be torn down. When the law allows.

It is very real to me cuz i feel i am on the frontlines. I am the youngest of my sisters.

No family. One sister i pray with whom has underlying cancer issues.

It is awesome that the people cheer the health care workers. But my God why did u deny them healthcare wear?

Scary as all get out, no? I have never lived so alone and without animals. I was gonna get a robotic cat that u can hug. and it purrs. But i hear The Big Guys are gonna slaughter my social security even moreso now.
