it's cold here, but not as cold as it could be, so I'm not griping.... Hopefully y'all are doing fine today...

Fire.... I'm givin it my best shot... Tryin to smoke as little as possible, cause Saturday is my "quit date" I choose when I started this crap.... My SO still smokes as well, but I'm NOT gonna force her to do anything she doesn't want to do.... Hey I can't make everybody in the world stop just because I did.... I have to able to "handle" those kinds of temptations.... Besides, she wants to try and maybe the Chantix or hypnosis.... We'll see ... We actually help each other with anything....

Hey Pops... Great to see ya hittin this thread more... And Roses5555 as always great to see ya back....

Willie... You always bring a smile to my face with your pics... Some are hiliarious. While the others are surely warm... Keep up those posts.... Their great!

We have to keep our Linville in our thoughts and prayers, cause we all know how he holds all that pressure in... That alone is a tough way to let it grab hold of ya... Be safe my friend... Wish I could be of help to ya ... All I can say is I'm here buddy.. Not much I know, but I'm here none the less...

I'm "switchin" between phones and for now, it seems to be workin... Maybe I was freakin out a little too much...lol... I tend to do that every now and then...

Just remember to love one another today.... And smile... Bring maybe a little joy into someone else's life.... It's worth the effort...

Hi lovely visitors to the hallowed halls of Cafe Linville. I hope the week is being kind to you all. Just to mention that Charon has been kind enough to start a thread on cancer, at my request (I am a technical bozo and need all the help I can get!) and I hope that maybe some of you will feel able to come to read the contributions and perhaps somewhere find the strength to post something too, so we can all get strength from each other. But if the pain is too raw to be able to talk about it - and I know how that feels, I really do - then maybe you can just come and read, and maybe, if that is also too much right now, just know it's there for the day when you do feel able to think about it again.
Virtual hugs to one and all - I am going to be a busy hugger today!

It's FRIDAY!! Yippy!! Coffee's just bout done.... Brb...

Man I hope Linville is doin ok... I worry when one of us is MIA.... You know how that goes....

Fire... Thankx for all the love and support.... One can never have to much of that in you corner! Those dang pills (Chantix) aren't really messin with my mind as much as they're messin with my stomach... Since I started takin 1 whole one in the AM and one in the evening, they make me feel sick to my stomach.. I think I'm gonna try 4 halves a day and see how that goes.... Hey at least my ole cough has slowed to a crawl... But I'm still a bit leary of "Lucy" and my other girls....

I got something really weird happenin with this danged ole phone of mine... After gettin that one real similar(with no browser) I was "activating" the old one at night and then "activating" the new/old one every AM to get calls and txts.... Well... After I did that a few days, all the memory just came back!! So now the new/old phone is just a battery for this one and I don't have to keep switchin phones!

Now for the bad part of this story....

Y'all are still stuck with me being here...lol

Good Evening Friends.

It has snowed around 12-13 inches so far .

Ice you take good care of yourself too my friend.

My good ole AWD was very good to me in this snowstorm, I didn't have a bit of trouble.  Yay....I saw others having a lot though.

It was the lightest rush hour I have ever seen. On the interstate, which made me happy. Everyone else had been sent home early or didnt even bother to leave to house this morning. 

I got there before it started and had my office windows opened and watched it all day left at normal time of 4 PM 
It was a thing of beauty to watch.....especially since I didnt have any trouble.



(I still cannot log into ioplist.org from my iPhone or my iPad, ugh.)

Well the coffee's made and I'm at least 3/4' through it already... There's several inches of snow everywhere and 19 degrees..... Wow ... Beautiful start already...

LINVILLE... Man it was soo good to see your post when I got here... The Cafe' just isn't the same without your presence ....

my ole cough is finally slowin down, well quite a lot really... Which is fine by me.. The Chantix makes me sick to my tummy, but whatever it takes to quit these "coffin nails"...

That's funny Rose5555........that Southern y'all is not american anywhere else but the south.....and those guys are the ones who tried to secede a couple hundred years ago......"y'all" says more about what part of America your from than that your American.....

I had a very busy week....haven't been around, and like you....today is for me, my SO and the cats.

Hope everyone is doing a Happy Dance......we Californians have had a four year drought.....and this winter we are getting lots of rain.........the drought is very serious and it's going to take more than one good winter of rain to catch up.......I am tired of short showers and "if it's yellow, let it mellow" routines
