actually, that is normal in cat rescue. we would watch. i am not describing what one can see. but, if anything moves in ur cat or dog's fecal matters, they need to be de wormed.
(tis a sight not easy to forget, i tell u what.)

I hope that day never comes. Â I'm afraid if my cat saw it moving she may feel compelled to attack it. Â Even though I've never personally seen a cat play in feces. I definetly can't say the same about dogs.

most men go whaaapppp themselves if exposed to reguritation or a baby's nappy, as someone said.
and, many a woman.
we had a houseful of strays. i always cleaned up. then i did rescue. u r more concerned with a mom cat taking part of ur face off than the kitty litter.
but, i raised the hour old kittens rescued from a still warm body of the mom along the highway. the ones the mom rejected. now, we use cotton balls, in warm water, to get a newborn to get his/her body functioning. there r some things those of us whom did rescue will not do. if u got my drift.
it is nothing from a wee baby kitten. and, then u get used to it. u can see, ok, i wont tell u. just if u witness anything the size of rice and wiggles, get thee to a vet.
with a child? i actually would check at first in case he had been exposed to the cats. but, its normal to check for color. could be reliable indicia of an infection in the baby.
oooh. i know how to gross u out. poor Ice.
atom: its so small, its one of only three parasites we can see with the naked eye from a cat. DISCLAIMER: HAVE NOT DONE RESCUE IN FEW YRS. I AM OFTEN WRONG. LOL.
very small. i never saw a cat play with it or eat it. dogs, i hear pica? i think its called, is often a vitamin deficiency in the dog.
if u have a pet store, they have an awesome vitamin cream for dogs. and for cats. not expensive. u put it rite on their lips.
good luck. i love ur avatar, btw.

Hippy I too am a strict vegan, I understand the cheese thing, Even as a child I could not stomach meat, poultry of any kind. I ate fish until 18 years ago, I got real sick on it my last meal of fish and have never ate it again.
I recently had to stay 24/7 by a love ones side at the hospital, and they would provide me with a guest tray. I informed them I was a vegan no lacto-ovo and the 1st meal they brought was cottage cheese, cream of mushroom soup, jello & fruit cup. I explained that it was not a vegan no lacto-ovo dish, the delivery person who was very rude said that they may not know how to make a vegan meal. Incredible! A Dietician does not know the how to order a vegan no lacto-ovo meal.

Some dieticain ... Wonder how they even got the job as one in the first place ... I mean how on earth do you claim to be the head of the dept and not know how the job works? She must have been there visiting someone and just filled in the position. Doesn't sound like they "studied" anything ...

I have a photographic memory, with a few caveats. I remember everything, down to the smallest detail, books included. (being able to reference books by imagining the pages is convenient).
However, if you were to ask me: "do you know about X?", I'd likely say no. But if we began talking about X, it all flows out.
It's all filed away somewhere up there, I just need a push to remember exactly which filing cabinet of random information to reference.

I'm sure you can think of something. Â Maybe you enjoy the smell of your own flatulence? Maybe you like wearing high heels? Maybe you a trained assassin hunting me down for outing you on your love of silky underwear.
Actually silky underwear is nice.
