Hello my extended family!

Friday evening with me and im sitting in the back seat of a car, 2 hours into a 5-6 hour journey.
I did the 1st stint of driving so time for me to chill for 3-4 hours.

Im on my way down south with my brother and mother for a weekend of manual labour (clearing out my late grandpas house so its ready for selling)
I think I've spent more weekends away from home than I have at home this year :-0

Anyway, this is the PERFECT opportunity to catch up on some much needed IOPLIST reading

Audrey: I hope you get a good sleep tonight. It sounds like you're going through hell, reminds me of my absolute worst period of insomnia, I really do feel for you.
I'm going to post something that a guy who calls himself Tom-N-Texas wrote. A poster on an insomnia forum I visited YEARS AGO! He is just an ex insomniac who really is inspirational, I hope you read it. It'll be on your 'tips for insomnia' thread.

So I want to finish by saying:
Sorry if I have missed anyone out or missed out any important issues certain people may be going through. Also I dont mean to post more to some and less to others, im only going off the last sort of 3 pages of Cafe posts and im having to skim read a bit because im staring into a phone screen (which is fine) but its jumping all over the place due to the terrible road conditions in the UK.
Potholes, corners, roundabouts, bumps, you name it, so its hard to read. Luckily I dont get car sick.

So many here today that I was excited to read. Thanks for making me always feel welcome. 

Looong day at work, but done now, and ready for a terrific weekend. Nothing special, just a glass of wine and a movie called Spotlight, which I pray is not too sad. I'll watch from my couch, so if I tear up a little, I'll be in my safe zone. No anxiety hopefully.

I still get annoyed when people say its mind over matter crap. If I remember correctly he was pretty anti-med. His thing was nobody died strictly from lack of sleep..which has been disproven. Lol.

Argh! I just spent 15 minutes adding good wishes to all of my friends here, and the post editing timeout period expired on me. Too tired to write all that again, but to all of you, a fine and relaxing weekend - And to my fellow insomniacs, remember that Casa Insomnia is open from dark to dawn. It would be mean spirited of me to say I hope to see you there (I don't, actually - I hope you're all sleeping soundly), but I have no doubt I myself will be there for a time tonight and tomorrow night - For some reason, Fridays and Saturdays tend to see my insomnia become more, rather than less severe. At least I know it's not work related!

Have a great weekend, old friends and new. I'm going to copy Revolution's plan for this evening, only replacing her glass of wine with two or three beers.

Oh yeah .. Btw... I haven't smoked(cigs ) in quite awhile... Sometimes about a month or so... It's gettin much much easier and the taste of stuff in wonderful!! Shout out to all those that were here for me... You know who y'all are.. Thanks for all the kind words and wishes... I needed to know there were others that actually give a hoot ...
