You just need to slow down Audry--or maybe you have it set on "walk".  Aps don't lie, ha.  I used to rely on a GPS for travel, but got tired of being derailed onto parallel roads and left at dead ends.  I just use a good Atlas now.

I need a first time, Linville. I'm in a bit of a rut. Glad the weather is warming up.

Wow, transformer blew about a quarter mile from my RV park.  Sounded like I set off one of my M80s.  They everything in the park went kerplunk.  Funny Internet seems to still be working as the router at the office would have to be plugged in, but they have no lights, air, etc.

So, I'm taking the opportunity to run the generator--which I do now and then--to see if things are all responding.  Used to have "blackouts" in mid CA when I lived there.  It was real hot there, and the blackouts always occur during time of high power use.  People would get in their cars and run the AC to get a break as sometimes they lasted for days.  It's a warm day for here--Northwest coast--as opposed to inland mid San Joaquin valley, so no big if I have to go a few days, worst case.  If worst comes to worst, I'll have to read.

Safeway is only a stone's throw away.  I'm sure there are some people with ice cream in their carts hoping the power comes back.

Hope the rest of you are having an uneventful day, I mean, I hope you have power.

Hi Revolution, I hope you get what you are looking for in something shaking things up so to speak, you know, and it does wonders for you in the good ways.   Wink

Today was another top ten but we are starting to get too dry so I am hoping for some rain.

I'm not complaining, it's just life goes by too fast when I'm in a routine. Which is, always. I'll figure something new out. Maybe a new ice cream flavor, Linville. ;-)

Spanky, how's that generator working? No TV is absolutely unAmerican, I agree. I am hoping you are back on track ASAP, and that your friends in the area are all ok.

Hi Everyone,

Yeah, power came back on in the evening.  I didn't care cause my generator worked like a clock so I had everything but Internet, as it gave when the office router found itself also without power, but no big in a small RV with a big generator.

Today I have a vent:

I went to do my taxes online.  Wasn't putting off until the last day, just waiting on SS earnings statement which I'd requested twice.  One post somewhere said they didn't send them out for SS anymore.  I don't know.  So I made an SS account and downloaded my 2015 statement no problem.  Went to the first suggested "free" site--I knew they would ding me later for a state tax calculation, all the "Free" ones do.  What bugged me was I went through the entire online process, had to recall IRS--actually got to talk with someone--to get a pin.  They won't give you a pin, but will give you last year's adjusted gross income, which will do for most sites.  Then, once that was all done, they left me a message saying they didn't do the taxes from the state I was doing my tax form from.  I looked it over backwards, and they never said that until you finish the process.

Who is it, Cruz, who says he will make it where those of us with simpletonian returns will need only a post card to do our taxes on, if elected.  Without declaring, it's almost enough to warrant my vote.

I hate those guys.

Good to see you again, spanky.

I used the most famous one a few years back.

When I got my disability, it is so low, my disability advisors said I never had to pay tax again. Good and bad.

Good luck.
