Good Morning IOP....
Ok folks... Sorry i missed yesterday, not that you noticed, but I just couldn't make it... Some kinda 24 hr bug had me all knotted up round this camp! But the coffee's just bout done and man am I ready this AM.... Brb...
Ahhhh... Hard to beat... Now ole "Wesley" is history (thank goodness) so today I chattin with "Anonomous" ... Let's see how this goes... Brb...
Holy Moly!... I can tell it's gonna be one of those kinda dayz today already!
Well after my SO had her test the doc called and told her that one of her valves was "leakin" a bit... He didn't sound all freaked out, just said he wanted a cardioligist to take a look see ... At the moment, I haven't lost ti yet, but there's still time before I go ape sh!t.... At this particular junctur in my path, I'm not even sure what or how I'd take some things... I do have the tendancy to go balistic under certain conditions... Now I know that doesn't make situations any better, it just keeps my mind occupied.... I've been known to stick drs on the wall to get answers and such... So we'll see how this goes....
Alrighty then.... Already after 5... Gotta burn off.. But today I'll be back ...
Remember to love one another today and smile.... Use it or lose it...

Good Morning All. I hope you all slept well & that you have a good Saturday with little pain & anxiety.
I am driving into town with my 85yr. old dad this morning. Someone is always with him now when he drives. He is still a excellent driver but I can tell his reactions are a bit slow. It takes a half an hour to get to town & the drive is lovely. I enjoy seeing the cow & horse farms along the way. And I am always interested in looking at other people's gardens too. So, I have to get ready to go now & I'll say bye for now.
Good Morning to Ice, willie, Charon, Fireplaces, Linville, Revolution, Insomnia Sucks, Kid A, Dancing Wolf, Back2Good & to all the rest of you lovely people.

Hola Linville,
I did Basic and AIT at Harmony Church, Fort Benning, GA, and then jump school at the 1st Battalion, 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment (also at Benning) then was assigned to 5-21 Infantry Regiment (part of the 7th Infantry Diviion (Light), then in it's glory days at Fort Ord). After 18 months with 5/21 Infantry I was transferred to the 7th ID's Long Range Reconnaissance Detachment (They weren't calling us LRRPs any longer, too much stigma from Vietnam, I suppose), and since 4RTB's LRSLD 4-week course was full for the foreseeable future, but the Ranger Course had plenty of openings, off I went to the Benning School for Wayward Youth, graduating by the grace of God and the hair on my chinny chin chin.
I returned to Ord just in time for the ramp-up for operation JUST CAUSE, and had myself a fine little war, then stopped by Fort Campbell for a couple of weeks in order to become Air Assault qualified on my way to 2/11 ACR in Fulda, West Germany - The "frontier of freedom" they called it then, because the Fulda gap was where the brass thought the Russians would begin their assault if the balloon went up...Thank God it never did, we'd have been decimated.
I finished my 5-year hitch in Fulda, did not re-enlist, and took my GI Bill Benefits back to Texas, where I drank beer and played football for four wonderful years, then real life settled in, I married my college sweetheart, and began the rat race that's done far more damage to me than the army ever did :-)
Best,

Good morning all,
Another terrible night's sleep here (obviously, I'm up at 5:45AM), I'm having issues with a package from one of our favorite vendors, and I'm "taking one for the team", having spent $220 on an order with an IOP AOS suggested, so I've almost $800 floating around out there with no clue as to whether I'll get a delivery from the good vendor (a pack sent on the same day as mine, using the same shipping method, was delivered in THREE days from PH, mine is still tracking "Origin Post Is Preparing Shipment"), or whether I've been scammed by the new vendor.
What was that old Kurtis Blow song? "These are the breaks"? They are indeed.
I suppose I'll go let the chickens out early since I'm up anyhow, and let the little goat sleep in, she needs her rest. As for me, the coffee is brewing.
Have a wonderful day all,

Morning Everybody! I have been up since 5 but there was no sunrise to see because it's raining hard here today. I need to give my dad's extremely large Pitbull, called Precious, a bath today. But other than that , I have the day free. I am just going to relax. I hope you all have a nice Sunday without pain & anxiety.
Good Morning Charon! Enjoy your day.
Morning Back2Good. I'm sorry you had such a bad night. I wanted to mention that a few years ago, I had a herd of Sheep & goats along with chickens, ducks, geese, & my son had a pot belly pig. So I really enjoy hearing your stories about your critters.
Morning Harley, I am terribly sorry that you have an arthritis flare up & that you are hurting bad. It's a good thing you have a quiet weekend planned. I hope your pain is better today. Hang in there.
Morning Linville. It is good you got rain & I hope you got your mowing done yesterday. I hope you can rest up today from where you work so hard all week.
Good Morning also to Fireplaces, Ice, willie, Popster, Revolution, Zander, Spanky, Rose5555 & to all the rest of the gang!
