Good Morning IOP!!
Yep Linville, it is a soggy, humid raining day here with the forecast to be the same all day!!
I'm going to flip on the ceiling fan, plump the pillows on the couch, pull a very light blanket over me and attempt to finish a book I started awhile ago!
Thanks willie, but sleep was hiding from me all day!! Got some things done so I don't feel guilty about a Sunday Lazyday!!

Maybe another leave work early day, I'd like that , grins...
I did not do my usual and catch up on sleep over the week end and whoa, I am feeling rough this morn.....maybe I can catch a power nap at lunch.....funny look how I am thinking ahead to get some sleep....sad isn't it?

Gooooood morning one and all!
We had some amazing weather Sat/ Sun! Caught up with some friends. Asked my best friend to be my best man (although we don't plan on getting married for about 18-24 months yet) and to top it off, I'm heading out of town tomorrow for a couple days holiday (a concert) so...it feels like a Friday.
Oh, my boss is also off!
It's going to be a good week!

Morning Linville. I love the photo of the poppies. I have tried to grow them but failed. Perhaps because of our long cold winter.
Morning Fireplaces. I understand how you feel about your DD moving on with her life. It's only natural that it is bittersweet for you. When my boys left home, I threw myself into gardening. I felt so lost & lonely but it gets easier Fire. Maybe try & think of things you would like doing once she is in college.

Monday Monday!!
Haha - actually I usually feel better and have more energy on Monday. That, of course, is subject to change!!
The poppies are beautiful Linville. I fear I have an afternoon trying to repair the drenching my newly planted flowers got this weekend,
they look pretty sad!!
I - S enjoy what sounds like a great week!!
Fire, it will be an adjustment when DD goes off, but start with little things now to take up just some time. Hopefully things will grow from that. I did not do that and after being the career woman, mom of 2 sons, and then BOOM-----wasn't sure what I was!!! Actually, still working on it!!

Slick your flowers should snap back and actually enjoy being outside with natural rain water for a drink.
Have you finished planting the flowers, if you said I think I missed it.
I can remember getting several of those flats with a dozen little packets of six eventually thinking , what have I done or what was I thinking .....
But when they take hold and start their showy display you will be happy about it.

Playing a bit of "hookie" this AM... Actually I'll go later.. ..
The dang "cicadias" have been singing for appox 2 weeks now ... I've never seen an orange eyed bug like this! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!! They are as thick as the "mayflies" down south... Well maybe not that thick, but there's a bunch of em... They're sayin how this is a 17year "breakout", just a few weeks and {{{Poof}}} they're gone...
Texas had critters something like these, but they were green and bigger... Come out every year...
Oh well... I'm shuttin up...
